If net neutrality is repealed, end-users will be paying more for the services that they already use, directly or indirectly. That's the "economic boost" some people are talking about.

Various polls show that close to 80% of US citizens support net neutrality. At the end of the day, it's important that the majority decide what is best in such cases.

I disagree. Bits being equal is the very essence of the Internet. In fact, it's what made the Internet what it is today.

I believe the classification the FCC is going for is common carriage, not public utility.
