Can relate to some of what you say in the opening post especially the thing about the parents, and depression (which, unfortunately I am still battling).
I was taken out of my home at the age of 4 with a protection order due to being battered black and blue by my birth mum - not sure if that has anything to do with this whole dominant woman thing that I have going on.
