It seems that some of you folks know allot more about the history of the different Amazon camps. Do any of you guys remember what years Judell was back in Montana operating the Amazon there ?
Judell moved from California to Montana in 1985 after her divorce from Jack Snr. She lived in Polson, which I believe was her original home town where she was raised.
She moved from Montana to Lynden, Washington State in 1991 after remarrying. The Washington Amazon was started in 1993. I have their original brochure which I received on 3rd September, 1993. It closed in about 1998.

Neither the Montana or Washington Amazons were as successful as the California Amazon. I suspect there were two reasons for that. Firstly, she did not have Jack Snr's marketing expertise to rely on, and by the late 80s and 90s there was a lot more competition from other producers than there had been in the 70s and 80s.

Interestingly Brandy Hawke's group ran from about 1989 until about 1992 or 1993 and was based in Vancouver, Washington. A pity the two groups never got together.
