Absolutely one of the best managers of the current era, but his style demands a certain class of player in both skill and intelligence. He would not be the right skipper for an average team to get the most out of limited talent, in fact, would probably be a bad choice. But if you have world class players, he's the number one guy you'd want in charge. Last year we saw the fluidity with the offensive players they had especially early on, the problem was when teams realized how weak the defense and goalkeeper were and attacked those areas hard. Now those areas are much improved with players who can play in his system and City look like not just probables for the Premier title, but a serious contender for the champions league.
