That was a pure domination-match where he did not show any resistance.

That is IMHO far away from being the "best" Video.

Agree. We have to define our terms. For some "best" might mean best one-sided match or best scripted match, and apparently that's the case as many, maybe most, of the choices I am seeing aren't genuinely competitive matches. Next to no one thinks Ali vs Liston was the best boxing match, but the Ali-Frazier fights were gems considered among the best in boxing history. So for me it's the most competitive, most even match, one that shows serious ability and is really hard-fought. There aren't just a whole lot of those matches available. Of the ones that are, if I had to pick one, it would be DWW's Jana vs Richard. Just amazingly hard-fought and genuinely competitive. And it's just amazing how this small woman can go toe to toe with a guy who is something like 6 foot and 175 pounds. But Jana pound for pound was probably the best wrestler at DWW. She just barely lost to Antscha, who is far more muscular. Anyway, it's a very competitive, sweaty match outside, and both very much want to win. Final score is 3-2.

Claire vs Ivan (Fighting Dolls) is another outstanding competitive match. He has just had a tough match with Vladka and is worn out, but doesn't catch a break as Claire attacks him. He would have beaten her maybe 5-1 (big guy, skilled) had he not been tired, but he was, so the match was tough and only decided by one fall.

I used to have the video of Sue v Ricky. As far as i remember he was in the lead early on getting submissions out of Susan. He either ran out of steam or she started fighting dirty and think she finished him with a lengthy facesit.

An oldie but a goodie is Raquel vs Ian from C and B Video.

I agree.Raquel vs Ian is definitely one of the best of all time.

The guy was small, about Raquel's size. Was apparently a wrestler in high school. Seemed to think it was a bit of a joke at first, but then very quickly learned she was a very formidable opponent. It was competitive but Raquel was better. The forced "Women rule" submissions were something you don't see very often.She makes him say it several times.

He submits...Raquel says something like "Say Women Rule and it will be all over very quickly"

For those in quest of a definition . . . I think the thread was just about your opinion, not that anyone else will necessarily have the same criteria. I stated what mine were, which just go to my own peculiarities -- I will not, for example, watch a video with the woman in long pants, even for a second. I know someone on this board actually mentioned that they prefer that, so there you go. I think that is built into the analogy to "One Picture and Why."

For me it's DWW-957 Denise vs Marek. Denise is my favorite wrestler, so I'm biased. The match is competitive, but has erotic qualities to it. It's also one of the few times a male wrestler attempts a pubic choke.
