Yes, that's definitely BC. It's her 1992 incarnation and you can see the names of the guys responsible on the cover.

On the previous page (Post #715) I wondered how young American schoolkids reacted when they opened the latest comic, only to find their favourite superhero being thrashed and trashed by a woman.

Well, here are another couple of one-on-one battles with the fairer sex. This time it's Spidey and the Captain getting pulverised, to their eternal shame - and, probably, to that of their devoted male readers as well. Needless to say, my own reaction was very different.

That must be a comment on my post at the top of the previous page. And it's absolutely correct. The original character hails from Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia when first created). I don't normally invent things like this, but it's so long ago I can only guess I first came across it via the French translation after it was published in other countries.

Apologies all around and I'm happy to be put straight on the matter.

This is the final set featuring male superheroes being bullied and mercilessly humiliated by their female counterparts or enemies. This time we have Aquaman suffering a bit of a domestic, followed by Mantis dishing out the pain to the most boring Marvel hero in history.

But the last trio show my favourite scenario of all - a collective of musclebound good guys being overpowered by a single unarmed (but deadly-legged) Russian ballerina. Enjoy!
