Default Compare your max squat to the women on instagram

Many women posts their squat PRs (another word for max weight lifted) on instagram... So can you all do better the women here:

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

Here are a few recent ones...

190 lbs: [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]
215 lbs: [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]
280 lbs: [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]
340 lbs: [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

So what's your size and max squat (or "PR")?

I'm 5'11, 135 lbs, and maxed out at 185 lbs for two reps (and 155 for five reps)... not sure yet what my 1-rep max would be.

I can hit 300 plus. Anything over 250 for a girl is extremely impressive.

Was able to hit 450 at 185 a few years ago. So while that 4th girl, Ashley, isn't close to my number her power>weight is very impressive.

Do you all train weightlifting regularly?

Here are the strength standards for men... [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

Not sure how accurate these standards are since even though I've only squatted a few times, I was able to do 185 lbs twice (bodyweight 132 lbs), which means I'm between novice and intermediate...

Dang the bench press standards are so much lower for women.

Regularly? Pretty much Monday - Friday.
Given my size and strength, finding a competitive opponent was not easy. My strength level looks to be "Advanced" by the table. It is probably between Advanced and Elite if age is factored in.

My wrestling skill level would probably be considered to be between novice and intermediate. Frankly, I can't watch video clips showing a lightweight woman submitting a muscular man. I've been there and I know that it can only happen if the fellow throwing it or is completely incompetent.

I know how you feel about unmatched weight classes in matches, but I think in a ground grappling match with no standing and no picking the other wrestler up... that it's possible for a thin woman (i.e. 120 lbs with strong legs when it comes to scissoring) to get a submission. But the rules have to be set in a manner that minimizes the advantage of strength... And women that are really thin (which allows them to maneuver their legs much easier) can not only cause a headscissor submission through pressure, but also choking (with their legs). I once was actually choked in headscissor (which completely cut off my breathe and made me unable to talk, although I didn't pass out because I tapped in time) and it was actually pretty scary... most headscissor submissions are a result of pressure though... so in my opinion, wrestlers such as i.e. Zoe (160 lbs @ FightPulse) would have a much harder time against a muscular guy than Jane (120 lbs @ FightPulse) since Jane has thinner legs which she can more easily get around a guy's head...
