A total mismatch. Correia was in the ring for less than a minutes, but her face looked like she'd been in there for an hour.

Ummmm....could we maybe put that on hold for a teensy bit, and first try to put a fight together between her and guyborg, pretty please with sugar, whipped cream and a cherry on top?

I see Dana has Ronda vs Tate III next up. I'm not opposed to a 3rd fight, but I think they should maybe try another opponent first, Holly Holm or Julianna Pena...I know there's not much there though...

womens MMA looks like children fighting. Rousey is excellent, no doubt. The problem is her opponents are just crap. Total and utter crap. She keeps taunting Mayweather so lets get her laced up and stick her in the ring, watching Mayweather knock her out within a minute would be quite amusing.

I read recently how MMA has greatly shifted from an emphasis on ground game to striking. I certainly seems evident at least from the 2 matches I saw last night, Gadelha vs Aguilar and Rousey vs Correia.

Also:

Claudia Gadelha asked for it and now she's going to get it.

After beating Jessica Aguilar via unanimous decision at UFC 190 on Saturday night in Rio de Janeiro, Gadelha used UFC president Dana White's name directly and asked for a rematch against women's strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk. White implied on Twitter that she's going to get it and confirmed it later on FOX Sports 1 with Ariel

Here's the post-fight press conference...Cyborg's status is discussed too

Seriously dude. Never gonna happen. Of course Money would KO her in the ring. And Rousey would eat him alive in the octagon.

Yes ofcourse Ronda would beat Mayweather in the octagon . Ofcourse he will have cuffs around his hands and legs, after a few shots of vodka and a few pills of diazepam, and held from behind by Brock Lesnar. Come on, like everyone in this forum I always root for the female but let's get real here.

Well, I think that the point is pretty clear (now more then ever):

• First of all, it's obvious and undeniable: Ronda is a great athlete. She's strong, fast, technical and she has a great fighting-attitude. No way. That's what I call a serious "training" and a serious "effort" in it.

• At the same time, it's equally clear and undeniable that she hasn't any valid challanger in her category. They surely train with passion (it's their job) but, as you can see in every Ronda's match, there is a big lack between her and the others about everything (striking, grappling, posture, precision, energy, aggressiveness...). In few words, it's time to congratulate also with her training staff... Big work guys !
I'm not here for judging the teams' competence but I only speak for what I see and after 13 matches I think is a proper consideration.

• As far as a "mesmerized" mixed fighting, we'll never see it. Either because there is a "moral"-"common sense" question (already discussed by many) and also for the difference between the two categories: the male competition is another level under all points of view. I know, we know, they (most of all) know. Even against a lower body-weight contender, would be an undeserved humiliation for Ronda. The male athletes start from a different genetic base, different body and strenght features, have another training level, another effort and "wildness" during the fights (...)

P.S Personally, there would be only one serious match for Ronda: Cris Cyborg. For the moment and for what I know, anyone else.
