To those who have already seen me make this point, I apologize, but:

You can do mixed wrestling on WWE 2017 and other recent years this way: Go to CAW (create-a-wrestler) and tell the machine want to make a woman. It will allow you make her look like a man: beard, mustache, bald, body hair, flat chested, huge, whatever. (Just not hugely muscular; but plenty bulky.). Then, because this figure is officially female, you can pit it against the divas that come with the game or other females you create.

What you cannot do is make the divas (or CAW females) fight the male "superstars."

Added after 8 minutes:

You can't make "him" extremely muscular, but you can make him plenty bulky.

And, of course, you must have him wear something over his chest.

Then, because this male figure is officially female, the machine will allow you to pit it against the divas that come with the game or with females you create.

What you can't do is pit the character you've created against the male "superstars." I don't know how important that is to people.

That's what I've been doing for years, but after being able to glitch intergender matches and have a very obviously man, bare chested getting beat on by a woman, it's just a sad substitute lol. And no matter what, I can't remove boobs, so i have to suspend my disbelief whenever I'm trying to pull that off lol. But, it's what we're stuck with, sadly.

It's definitely flawed as a substitute. But, really, if you make the chest and shoulders big and make the boobs as small as they go, I can get to the point where I don't see them.

Check out Fire Pro Wrestling World. The graphics aren't as sophisticated but there's no barrier to MvF matches.

Yes. Female "edits" (Fire Pro's equivalent of CAWs) are perfectly legit. The game comes with around 30 "pregenerated" fictional wrestlers and 5 of them are female.

There are certainly far fewer design options for female edits (only one specific set of female body parts; of the c. 650 faces only a few dozen are female; because of the nature of the graphics hair can't go beyond shoulder length. Voices are limited in general (pretty much just grunts and screams) but there are female options) but the game is still in early access and the developers have said that more stuff for female wrestlers is something they'll be including down the line.

If you have access to Steam check out Fire Pro's workshop page and search for the (at time of writing) almost 1000 RL and fictional female wrestler edits that players have already uploaded since the game came out all of 3 weeks ago.

Yep, I've got FPW and created one female CAW with moves I like. I just hate how it's 2D lol. Looking at it when looking at one of the WWE games is just like... damnit.

I'm hoping that one day FP will make the move to 3D and let us make more sexier characters than the current limits. I can still hardly tell they have tits in FPW lol.

Sorry to bump a pretty old thread, However now that the game is officially released.I can confirm, I have managed to successfully bypass the gender restrictions on 2k18, In my current save every character is in the same category. This means everyone can fight anyone, even set myself up a intergender federation for creating custom stories. Can even hack CAWS to participate in the action

I have been looking at this game, mate, but everything I read talked about there not being any intergender matches in the game. How did you get around the restriction?
