I saw that article earlier today and thought it was sort of interesting because a woman I know who trains MMA had commented how far to right the guys she trains with are.

No one tell her that Sanders has had lots of donations from corporate execs, they're just not out of the office checkbook. Anyway something silly like that shows she still spends most of her time thinking about her day job, so that's good.

A lot of independent athletes are self-starters and free agents, which makes them a good fit for either Republican or Libertarian "Pull yourself up by your boot straps", so yes, it's very uncommon for someone like her to support a far left. I'm becoming a fan too.

A lot of famous people go liberal. Not all, of-course, but probably a majority. Ronda does the talk show circuit and the occasional movie. She's still a fighter, no doubt, but she's also a star and an endorsement millionaire. She's part Gweneth Paltrow. OK, maybe not, but a little bit, in that direction. She's worked on her looks and she's funny when she does the talk shows. I don't know if it was her doing or advice she got, but it looks to me like she's gotten some excellent coaching on how to market herself cause she does it like an expert.

She's made no "I hate Mickey Mouse" fumbles like Nancy Kerrigan did.

It might just be a process of elimination.

Republican nominees? Yuck.

Clinton? Eww.

Webb or O'Malley? Who?

Oh, this looks like a sweet old guy. I'd vote for him.

That was my thoughts as well. A person could be a centrist democrat or even a non-party moderate and still pick Sanders from this bunch. It's not a very appealing group of candidates to choose from.

Now, maybe she is a socialist, but I don't think it's fair to draw that conclusion just cause somebody picks Sanders.

Well, she can start her socialism with me. I'll take some of her money I did nothing to earn.
