Default Anyone been to Monica's Wrestling Centre?

If so, I'm curious about the wrestling areas. It looks as if she only has the one large open space, the area with a ring and a red and blue mat. They would have events here. I will be there in about a month and was hoping there were more private, smaller areas for sessions. I see that the Submission Room has just such a smaller room. Anyone know about Monica's? And I guess the session fee (175 which is a bargain) includes the price for the room/mat rental? Thanks in advance for any information.

Yeah, the 175 includes the price for the room/mat. I can say that for sure.

Regarding the wrestling area, I think you are right. I've been to Monica's a few times and I know of no private rooms for sessions. As far as I know, it is just a big open space with a ring in it. The area around the ring contains chairs for watching the events and mats for wrestling on. Someone else might be able to confirm (or might know better)

I've had some sessions when events weren't taking place and I was always only given two options (the ring, or the mats in the open space).

I've been there plenty of times. It is a large open space, with wrestling ring in one corner, and wrestling mats on the other side. Not quite as private as the submission room, but don't worry, if you've booked or are going to book a private session, it will just be you and whomever you're having the session with!

The price covers everything.

You'll have a great time

I saw Monica for a facesitting session about 16 years ago! She operated from her flat in East London in those days.

Depends who you’re trying to wrestle? Some offer sessions out of their house in London and charge even less. That’s what I did.

I’ve been told (by a sssskkn wrestler) that Monica’s isn’t that private... there are quite a few other trades people about. Granted the LSR isn’t completely private, nor the wrestling factory in Manchester, but how does Monica’s compare?

It’s down a back alley that contains 6 or 8 shutter down door units. I went at night and none of them were in use. I would say evenings and weekends you are private there. Maybe weekdays in working hours not so much. Depends how worried you are - if imagine unless you are from the area no one is going to recognise you?
