I don't care if she wants to fight, give me 4 months and don't book her for shit till I fight her. Pay her to sit at home if you have to." Cause Misha ain't got shit on Ronda.
Do you not think that minutes after Miesha Tate won the belt from Holm that Dana White would have offered Rousey this exact scenario?

Oh I am sure, he tried to get Ronda to fight Holly right away. I wouldn't have waited for Dana to call is all. Ronda own Misha. If she didn't ask for the fight, then you can tell she is a ways from coming back.

Ripped Fight-Shape Ronda Spotted in New Grocery Store Selfie
September 4, 2016

In an unprecedented move, former UFC bantamweight mega-star champion Ronda Rousey has been sitting idle on the shelf for nearly a year, and if rumors hold true, the former champ will be out of action for more than a year by the time we see her return to to the cage in 2017.

Well, maybe she just wants time to prepare?

Who knows?… All we really know is that unlike typical Ronda, she isn’t taking her downtime lightly and already appears to be in in fight shape.

UFC President: Ronda Rousey’s Return Will Be Bigger Than Diaz vs. McGregor
By Tristen Critchfield
Aug 26, 2016

The Nate Diaz-Conor McGregor rivalry has been big business for the UFC.

Their first meeting at UFC 196, which Diaz won via second-round submission, was rumored to have garnered somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.5 million pay-per-view buys. Meanwhile, their rematch at UFC 202, a majority decision triumph for McGregor, was reportedly the promotion’s third highest-selling card of all-time behind only UFC 196 and UFC 100.

As well as that rivalry has done, UFC President Dana White believes the highly-anticipated comeback of former bantamweight queen Ronda Rousey will draw even more viewers.

“Yes [it will be bigger than Diaz-McGregor],” White said during an appearance on "The Herd” on Wednesday. “Ronda Rousey’s return will be the biggest pay-per-view that we have ever done.”

Before McGregor arrived on the scene, Rousey had established herself as the Las Vegas-based promotion’s feature attraction. However, the Olympic judoka has been nearly invisible since losing her title to Holly Holm via second round knockout at UFC 193 last November. White has already dismissed the possibility of “Rowdy” coming back for November’s blockbuster UFC 205 card at Madison Square Garden.

“Ronda had a bunch of minor surgeries and they’re healing up and when they are, I’m assuming she’s gonna fight,” he explained.

Although the organization doesn’t release official pay-per-view numbers, industry estimates have UFC 193 selling 1.1 million pay-per-view buys. Rousey also approached the 1 million mark for her previous fight against Bethe Correia, as that event reportedly garnered 900,000 buys.

White is still amazed by how far women’s MMA has come in such a short time, with much of that growth spearheaded by Rousey.

“If you’d have told me 15 years ago that women would be fighting in the UFC and if you told me that women would be as technically sound as the men and the fights would be loved by millions of people all over the world and the hottest thing going in the UFC, I’d have never believed you,” he said.

Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm II
Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz III
Nick Diaz vs GSP II
Dominick Cruz vs Demetrious Johnson II

It would be a stupid idea, but put these fights on one card and it can generate more buys than Mayweather vs Pacquiao I think.

That image doesn't look like fighting shape to me, looks more like someone post knee op, eating clean and training light.
I'd pick Holly to over power her easily in Rhondas present state.

Ronda Rousey tested by USADA for the first time in 6 months
September 8, 2016

As rumors regarding former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey’s return to the Octagon continue to surface, fans have only been able to speculate as to when the former champ will return to the Octagon.

With UFC 205 in New York rapidly approaching, where Rousey was expected to make her return, UFC President Dana White has stated that negotiations with Rousey’s team are ongoing, and she would not be returning at UFC 205.

Despite that, a recent photo of Rousey looking in ‘fight shape’ surfaced recently, leading fans to speculate even more about the former champ’s return to the Octagon.

In an interesting turn of events, according to USADA’s online database, Rousey has been tested twice for the first time in over 6 months. Prior to the pair of drug tests in the 3rd quarter of 2016, Rousey hadn’t been tested since the first quarter of the year.

In her last fight in the Octagon, Rousey was brutally knocked out by Holly Holm. The loss was the first of Rousey’s professional MMA career, and saw her lose her spot as the first and only UFC women’s bantamweight champion.

UFC President Dana White: Ronda Rousey Wants Cris ‘Cyborg’ Fight
By Tristen Critchfield Sep 28, 2016

When Ronda Rousey was UFC bantamweight champion, she was adamant that for a superfight with Cristiane Justino to occur, it would have to be on her terms.

While it’s unclear if Rousey would be willing to face “Cyborg” at a 140-pound catch-weight or above now, the Olympic judoka is apparently still interested in a fight against the feared Brazilian.

“Ronda wants to fight her,” UFC President Dana White said on the UFC “Unfiltered” podcast. “They’d have to figure out at what weight they fight. But Ronda wants to fight her.”

Rousey has been out of the limelight since losing the 135-pound title to Holly Holm at UFC 193 last November. Recently, there have been rumors that “Rowdy” has been offered a championship bout against Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in Las Vegas on Dec. 30. For now, nothing is set in stone, and it remains a possibility that Rousey won’t come back until sometime next year.

Meanwhile, Justino has established herself as a legitimate draw in the Octagon. Her promotional debut against Leslie Smith at UFC 198 made the pay-per-view main card, and she headlined UFC Fight Night 95 in Brasilia, Brazil, against Lina Lansberg last weekend. It has been well documented that making the cut to a 140-pound catch-weight has taken its toll on “Cyborg.” However, there are no plans to create a featherweight division in the UFC.

“First of all, there aren’t enough 145-pound female fighters to start a 145-pound division,” White said. “Cyborg is one girl floating out there who has that type of star power. She headlined Brazil for us.”

The rivalry between Rousey and Justino dates back to their Strikeforce days. Even then, Rousey taunted “Cyborg” to move to 135 pounds in order to face her, despite the fact that “Rowdy” herself started out competing at 145 pounds. More recently, Justino was expected to prove she could make 135 pounds while fighting in Invicta, where she holds the 145-pound title, to set up an eventual date with Rousey. Much has changed since then, and it seems that nobody is clamoring for Justino to make a potentially dangerous cut to bantamweight. For now, “Cyborg” seems willing to fight at 140-pound catch-weight if the opponent is right.

“I never picked opponents. I always let them pick the opponents for me,” she said after dispatching Lansberg on Saturday. “Anyone in the top 10 at 135 that wants to fight at 140 [I’ll fight]. I’ll do my sacrifice, I’ll cry to make 140….And we’ll make a great fight for the fans. I think that’s what makes MMA grow.”
