I've only just been made aware of this, via a friend who told me that Nikki Whiplash is about to take down all of her sites, due to a new law in the UK that comes in effect on 1st Dec.

Nikki tweeted yesterday;

"Facesitting, headscissoring and breath play content becomes prohibited for sale in the UK as of December 1st 2014."

I really can't believe that I'm reading this. There are dozens of things that are against the law, but nobody bothers. It's against the law to use a mobile whilst driving. It's against the law to download films and music via Bit Torrent. It's against the law to smoke cannabis. All against the law, and flouted on a daily basis by thousands of people. Not many decades ago, explicit pornography and homosexuality were against the law in the UK, as was consensual anal sex ( even between spouces ). All these were against the law. The law had to catch up with what was going on in the REAL world, and change. Now it seems that the EU are wanting to interfere with our lives, and put into place a piece of legislation that is wholly unenforceable. Even if this becomes law, films of the type in question will still be made and sold, because there is a market for them, just as there was for ordinary porn, when the "Holy Joes" said we couldn't watch that. Remember, this is coming from the EU. The same body that said UK bananas were too bent and had to be made straighter. As for Nikki Whiplash--------UNBELIEVABLE.

Talking as someone who's 'In the biz' as it were, these laws shouldn't
-theoretically- really change that much.

Especially with regards to Mixed Wrestling, really. Even in the most full on ScissorVixen style clips, the victim can usually tap, call out, or the cameraman will step in and stop the action. This is all above board. The only videos that would be 'questionable' are ones were a victim is bound or gagged, and therefore would be unable to give a safe word or tap out, especially if it was filmed via webcam or without a third party 'referee' to step in.

It sounds bad, but really it's only a law to protect the performers, and keep out the people who will, and do, risk others health to make porn. Accidents do happen, and there are some horrible people out there.

Also worth remembering, these Laws are much more harshly implemented on Straight 'Sexual' Pornography, Male-on-Female, where there really is a problem right now with girls signing up to amateur companies to make a quick buck (Or worse, producers deliberately hiring homeless/addict/trafficked girls) and getting far more than they anticipated.

I think deleting all her stuff is a humongous overreaction, or just a well timed marketing schitck.

At the risk of scare mongering the U.K.law which a large percentage of people should be very wary of is that which as seen one person jailed already,that of so called"revenge porn".
Years ago the guy whose wife appeared in the"Readers Wives"pages of the lads mag of the day had nothing to fear as the wife was often at least a part time model or worked evenings as a stripper/topless dancer/barmaid and could never dispute her willingness to take part.
But the internet as changed all that,being world wide it gives a form of anonymity.That is till the parting of a couple and those pics he took on holiday in Majorca where she displayed her assets and he posted them for the world to see can easily be seen as revenge porn.
Taken in context any wife willingly taking part in a spot of mixed wrestling for photo's or video could should a parting of ways occur easily find a lawyer and have her husband holidaying at her majesty's pleasure.

That is why models usually sign a model release form for the producer. By signing she basically gives permission to use the image as the producer sees fit.

You are right, but the difference with this law is that it is more enforceable (regarding UK Producers, especially the 'known' ones like Nikki). There are some very obvious UK produced sites out there and the 'authorities' (whoever they may be...) have the ability to trace these Producers (one way is via IP addresses & via credit card processors which the police are allowed to access with permission from the Courts). Some may continue 'underground' in the UK and if they're operating new sites with new names they can probably get away with it if they at least offshore parts of the business, but they will be acting as 'criminals' unless they go completely & legitimately off shore.

That anti- EU stuff about bananas and its ilk - was all bollocks. I can't believe people are still spouting rubbish like this after 30 years.

are they just banning the sale of facesitting and mixed wrestling, or are they trying to stop people making them as well, could she just make the videos here and host them somewhere else, anaconda for example have some scissor goddess films on their site, surely someone would host her material and allow her to remain active.

Im totally disagree with that law. they forget the people who work in the videos, many of them even victims, enjoy doing and those who do not are not obliged to do so. this law ignores that sex or sexual tastes are more complex and not everything goes for conventional sex hetero or homo. I´m scared, today is Uk and tomorrow can be the rest of europe,Usa, Canada and the world.
