Luna Winters was a great favourite in the hey day of Festelle Video, probably not for her wrestling ability, more likely for her looks.
Luna was a girl who used her body to make a living over a number of years, from stripping,to glamour modelling and almost every kind of fetish work known to man.
In one of the pics here she can be seen doing a fairly basic glamour/soft porn film for Fiona Cooper a Yorkshire based producer,a number of these films can still be found on the net if you are interested. At the time Luna was featured as Cora.
Another pic features her appearance for Sadie Stern Monthly where it doesn't take a lot of imagination to work out what went on there.
Also we have her appearance in Swish Magazine,no relation to Swish Publishing and A.I.A,
In the other picture sets she can be seen wrestling for Festelle iin bouts which can still be downloaded from their website.
As I mentioned before Luna as had a long career displaying her talents, infact she can still be traced as late as 2008 when she appeared in Parade men's mag possibly among Reader's Wives as Fatima from Fulham.
Possibly you know what she is doing now!!!

A skin rag aimed at heterosexual men called "Swish."

I never woulda dreamed.

I seem to remember Luna being sponsored to fight in America. She was shown a video of her opponent and thought she could beat her. I think it may have been a Joan Wise match. Luna took a real beating and the American woman won, forcing Luna to endure a lengthy facesit and a lot of trash talk. Incidentally Luna was a lovely woman who i met at an event. We had a few drinks after and i travelled with her on the tube back to central London.

Hello,

You may be referring to Luna vs Treena Collins. I remember it was one of my favorites. It see much more real than staged. Topless. It was a back and forth match that went on for a while but Treena applied a nelson to Luna. Normally not a submission hold but, she keep it on her for 5-8 minutes. This lead to some extensive face sitting on the poor defeated Luna.

They really did not seem to like each other.

Hey, I just found it:

You are spot on. That is the match. Great find. Luna said afterwards that she did not have the strength to get out of the nelson as Treena was much heavier. She went on to say that it was her worst defeat and she hated Treena for trash talking to her and keeping the facesit on for so long.

Yes, I remember Luna - saw her live at some tournaments in London and Norfolk in the early 90s, along with the other girls mentioned above. Anna Michaels really did it for me - sigh..... and I also recall a new girl Lucy at one of the Norfolk shiw. I even met Sonia Fernandes at a London show,& we got on so well we went off afterwards and had a match!))
When I was in Florida in the mid99s, Phil B arranged for me to have a couple of matches at the sister club in Fort Lauderdale. At the time the girls there seemed much more open about their love of wrestling than their UK equivalents. The outstanding nout was vs (I think) Sasha....

I dealt with DWW from the very beginning of their existence, having bought video DWW001, and a lot of others after that, and I am fairly certain that Phil B was not involved in any way.
As for the split between the "two Phils", I never saw any real explanation for it, but looking at the paths that Festelle and TPC followed after the split, I suspect that it may have been that Phil R wanted to move Festell more to the erotic end of the female wrestling spectrum while Phil B was more interested in concentrating on genuine competitive wrestling.
The two Phils separated after a News of the World (UK tabloid newspaper) sting on one of their live events which included topless wrestling. As a result of the expose Phil R lost his finance job in the City and Phil B fled to his holiday home in Florida until the dust settled. Phil R then went full time with Festelle, realising the money was in the more erotic end of the scene while Phil B set up WSC/TPC which included some topless but was mainly leotard or bikini. Phil B said to me once that he felt the best way to encourage girls into the industry was for it not to be topless. Phil B also had a video production company outside of wrestling for firms wanting to produce in-house promo films etc. Haven’t heard of Phil B in almost 20 years now. Enjoyed the trips to Norfolk and West Kensington to take part in videos in the early / mid 90s, Lisa Marie being my most treasured memory.

Yes that was nice memories. Remember a special match where she facesat at one girl. That was a real wrestling match. Then it was a bit more erotic one where she let Susan Strong smell at what she got between the legs.
