Shannon Logan and Helen von Mott

Raquel from Seattle beat all of the best wrestlers out there, pound 4 pound she was the best. I know Raquel personally and she’s better now than she was then and would destroy all of the wrestlers mentioned here IMO. The only person I think would Give her good match would be Yasmin and she is much bigger than Raquel

It is too bad "Raquel" was never in any tournaments so these claims might be substantiated. Now, they are just unsubstantiated claims; though actually I would tend to agree.
I once tried to help her get into the Sunkist tournament, but it fell through. I believe though she may have been in some BJJ tournaments, but not sure she actually won. Anyone know?

Raquel has been in lots of tournaments. She wrestled at numerous DWW events in Budapest, Monica’s events in London were she beat Anchsca, Victoria and Kassidy. I also saw a tournament we’re she beat Ziggy, Redd and Kristine. She has placed 1st in lots in BJJ tournaments

I meant sanctioned tournaments with regular rules, weight classes etc. The BJJ tournaments may have met that standard but the others did not

Raquel certainly belongs in the discussion, would eagerly wrestle her again if given the chance. For me personally, I felt slightly less overmatched when wrestling her and since I met both I need to add my personal experience as a factor.

Met Raquel once, she was fantastic. She pinned and submitted at will and effortlessly. Also found her to be a very delightful and engaging woman. I'd love a chance to session with Raquel once more.

Didn't Rachel beat Helen? (Helen was younger and less trained then), but I think I remember something like that.


Anyway on the Shannon/Helen debate, Shannon was great and one of my favorite sessions, but Helen was better. Helen got a tap from her when they had a match. Shannon was proud of the match cause she held her own, but Helen won. Helen was also stronger and my impression was that I was much more helpless against Helen. Shannon fought very defensive, she'd usually let me attack and defend and then get me in a hold when the opportunity arose, sometimes in a minute or two, sometimes I could hold out for 5 minutes. I even got Shannon to tap once in a bodyscissor. Helen would make me feel helpess, like nothing I did had any effect. The extra 25 lbs of muscle she had was a big part of that.
