Yes heard it. I don't think you understand how much an interview is controlled and shaped by the interviewer and the type of atmosphere they create for the guest. I wouldn't draw any conclusions about a guest's personality based on an interview especially with a provocative host like Stern. He does his thing and does it well but it's still schtick.

What does seem arrogant is a random person on the internet making pronouncements about Rousey's education or her personality or stating they don't agree with everything a guest says to an interviewer. I didn't either but so what? Speaking of education, she's said in several interviews and now in her book, she's a high school dropout. Doesn't make her stupid. She's doing very well for herself and it's not all due to her fighting ability. In many ways she seems like a very smart cookie.

One last thing, she says a lot of stuff in her interviews that is deliberately meant to be provocative. That's one way she is smart. Take just about any Rousey interview and compare to the average interview with an athlete. Most sports interview and deadly dull but Ronda's leave people talking. Same as her fights. Personally, I'd rather watch 14 seconds of Rousey/Zingano than 14 rounds of Mayweather/Paquiao.
Yes Stern did a bad job, but Rousey did not help herself at all. I did not say she was stupid, I said she didn't seem well educated, which is a fact. She did come off arrogant and the comments about dying before submitting seemed too much.

Add Yasmin to the list of females I listed.

Obviously hyperbole but so what? Stern actually did a good job, that is he did what he's paid to do. There are dozens of other interviews with her that show different sides of her. I'm a big fan of hers based on what she's accomplished and how entertained I am by her fights and her skills. I don't know what she's like personally and I know I'll never find out from interviews. You want to be some random person taking shots at her personality or character for who knows what reason, go ahead but it imo says more about you than her.

Default Shaq vs Ronda rousey

Shaq says he could "last 45 seconds" in the ring with Rousey. Does he underestimate himself? My logic says he would destroy her in 10 seconds.

First of all, he didn't literally say that
That's only a "derivated" assumption from his interview (moreover done in a fun-joke way)... And, anyway and seriously, not 10 but 30 seconds would be more than enough for him...

He did say that. Barkley made it into a sexual joke, but shaq wasn't joking at first.

It took only 34 seconds for Rousey to knock out her latest opponent, Bethe Correia. Her last 4 fights have lasted 130 seconds total. Time to start fighting men!

She beat her up standing up! That was unexpected! I knew Ronda would win very fast, but not like that! I don't know what surprised me the most though, the fact that Ronda had the better boxing, or that Bethe got dropped from a mediocre punch at best.

That only shows how much skill gap there was between the two, and in such scenario self-confidence doesn't really matter. Actually, it kinda makes you look stupid.

Horrible fight that should've never been sactioned.

It was basically an adult vs. a child such was the disparity in their athleticism, skillset and even size/power.

She recklessly walked through Bethe's punches, even getting tagged a few times, not that it mattered, before lamping the over-matched and undersized Correia and putting her out. Frankly it made me feel a little uneasy.

You can say Bethe got what she asked for in pursuing the fight and that she had it coming, taunting and pissing Ronda off, but the UFC never should've booked this fight as it was never going to be competitive.

The UFC must strive to find worthy opponents for Ronda as this is just getting sad.

All of the worthy opponents, except for Cyborg, are already in the UFC. Rousey has crushed them all.The only remotely worthy opponent she hasn't faced is Holly Holm. What do you suggest that they do?
