Strength.

You're not going to build any noticeable muscle mass in 6 weeks. That's why a lot of people get frustrated and give up after a few weeks because they don't look like a bodybuilder. When you see these hyped up "6 week body transformations" what the person has really done is just lost some bodyfat, and therefore appear more defined.

For a complete newbie though, you can make significant, rapid strength gains in your first 6 weeks of training. The deadlift is a compound exercise using lots of different muscles in the body - that's why it tends to be the exercise where people can move the most weight and also why it's so exhausting. Building strength is about engaging the muscle you have and adapting the nervous system to produce more force. That's why a lot of smaller powerlifters are stronger than much heavier bodybuilders. Size and strength are different goals and require different training methods. From person to person, it's also a question of genetics - some people are genetically predisposed to being really strong.

Here's Claire Aves doing 190 kg rack pulls (419 lbs)...not a full deadlift, but I'm impressed!

She looks even bigger than when she used to wrestle.

Yeah, there's gym strength and there's functional strength and the former might not necessarily have as direct a relationship to the latter as 1 might think. So the fact that she deadlifts isn't relevant, whereas the fact that she lifts regularly and is athletic means she has the physical tools to wrestle. That doesn't mean much of course, she could freeze up once a guy is on top of her, she might not be as coordinated when she needs to constantly move her hold body etc. Real wrestling is always more than physical stuff.
I wrote a thread on this, and without a doubt bodybuilding, and powerlifting are overrated as forms of strength. In powerlifting, the movement is one single range of motion. How then would that powerlifter have a 360degree range of motion and good strength? I would imagine a pole dancer would have exceptional strength due to the nature of the movements. If I go out looking for someone to wrestle, or arm-wrestle, I'm not sold on powerlifters perse.

Not only that, if you think of an exercise like putting your hand out in front of you, palm facing down, and pushing a weight down, and then palm facing up, and pushing weight up. One would be easier than the other. Therefore a smaller lady could negate the extra strength in a guy by being in a better position, and having greater technique.
