Flex Zee and Kasie C. Both beat the crap out of me. I got a few good holds on Kasie and one submission. But with FlexZee I got "0". I have like 60 to 70 pounds on both I am sure.

Since most of us are doing this for fun, I don't think it much matters. To me anyway, a one-sided match is not very interesting; nor is a 30-second pin.
Several factors can compensate for disparity in size/weight, and it might be good to pin those down (no pun intended LOL!)
Personally, I think general physical/athletic condition, speed and flexibility are probably much more important than weight. Weight classes exist only beause, in real competition, wrestlers are well matched in above categories and therefore weights have to be equal to compensate.
Personally, even before I retired, I found matches against girls half my weight to be quite a challenge.

I agree with Free, and you might want to add into the mix the desire to win, when all the other factors are there, that can be a deciding one

Yes. That is what is sometimes call "heart" and it's shown whenever, for example, a small girl takes on a big guy.
It's great even when she loses.

The smallest girl that beat me for a match was Ariel X. She was around 118 lbs and I was roughly double that. Embarrassing but she has had a lot of training and experience. I also won a match but lost a couple of falls to a fairly inexperienced young lady who was a gymnast / Olympic style lifter who was 5' and approximately 120 compared to my 6' and 225 - 230 lbs. Even though I won a lot more falls than her in the match, that was probably my most humiliating wrestling moment.

I lost to much smaller girls too. They were faster and more experienced.
Some locks and holds are just not to change quick enough anymore.
And then if I thought to be bigger and stronger fighting my way out it even hurts more.
Either the girl wrapped "everything she had" arround one of my arms bending it painful or her choke hold got so tight that it felt more like hanging with my neck in a knot of a rope someone is pulling at the end.

Well, at least you did defeat the gymnast girl, although given the weight difference, it was probably a moral victory for her.
When I was in my sixties, I couldn't even do that well!

I got submitted by Shannon Logan when I sessioned with her back in 2002 or 2003. She was about 125 I guess, and I was about 160.

She was wonderful. I wish she still did sessions.

Well, this thread is fun .

The very first girl I've ever lost to in grappling was almost a year ago. She was my partner for a project in a college class. I easily outweigh her by 50 pounds and am almost a foot taller (5'1, 115 pounds vs. 5'10, 160 pounds). She doesn't have a serious weightlifting background or anything, and her upper body deceives that she wouldnt be all that strong either. But goddamn, this chick has some amazing curves (like her beautiful ass) and amazingly thick and strong legs. I was so shocked when I lost to her because she is so thin in her upper body, but devastatingly strong in her legs and ass. (She's the girl in the middle)

Well, that's the usual advice when wrestling girls: Stay away from their legs! LOL
