Someone should write a book about Judell.Helen Von Mott would be a good choice as she is a good writer.

Great to see Jacqy on this board. I have been a customer of Judell since the very early days, and have almost every match she released in my video collection. I agree someone should write a book about her, and in fact I suggested to Judell many times that she should write one.

Your grandmother was not only one of the greatest but a pioneer in that she took on almost anyone. Are you in any way going to carry on the family tradition?

Good Morning friends!!! Just wanted to let everyone know I have returned to the forum. I apologize for the disappearing act but I had some personal matters that needed my direct and immediate attention. How is everyone's New Year treating them so far??? Good, I hope!

Writing my grandmothers Biography has always been a goal of mine and something that I have been preparing for over the last few years. I often sit and ask Judell questions about "those days", some more intimate than others. Her memory is not as good as it once was which makes getting correct information challenging at times, but I also have my Mother, Uncle, and Grandfather (Sharon, Jack Jr, and Jack Sr.) to cross reference if needed. I hope to someday write about her legacy, how and why she got into women's wrestling, etc. I also want to talk about the Judell I knew growing up and as an adult who I knew as my grandmother versus the Undefeated Wrestling champion and hopefully hit on the internal conflicts, challenges, and gains that she experienced from each.

I would like to at least do a few more matches now that I am older and have outgrown my errrrr baby fat and developed a few more muscles lol! It would be an interesting comparison to the few I had back when I was 16. I would love to open a club here in the Northwest, I think we have a lot of potential females that could offer some serious competition. It's challenging, however, to find and recruit serious, talented females as they tend to get a little creeped out by the cat fight /fetish material that comes up on the internet and is often associated with women's submission wrestling. Not everyone is as open minded and can appreciate how they compliment each other. This will become less challenging as women's wrestling becomes more mainstream and thus accepted.
