Charlie was one of those wonderful women who looked like they should NOT have been as strong as they really were.
I never videoed with her, but I agreed to private with her while she was staying at Mass Muscle Ed's while doing some video work over the weekend.
She was very skilled at technique, focusing her squeezing strength like the best, and she forced many submissions.... this is like 1993-94 so I'm stretching the memory a bit.
BUT at her invitation I followed her progress into stand up comedy, she was a very clever and witty woman, and actually incorporated a tiny aspect of submission holds into her stage act!

She by far was as good as anyone back in the 80's except maybe for Spice Williams (a fun woman but strong as hell!). Charlie and I went at it at DT productions and damn she was strong but mean as hell! Went for a scissors on her around her head and she tried to bite my balls. After that I was scared to death and she got me good with a waist scissors and her arms around my mouth/teeth and about killed me! Gina who owned the place called time since she knew I was toast, oh great memories! Belinda Belle was also much better then people knew. One time when I went to grab her hands/arms pissed her off so much she came in with a hold to my dick I yelped. The good ol days!

PaulFrank, what a great story, sounds like you were on the tail end of the Silver Age. I wish I could have met Spice.

The downer about her is that she always seemed to be sporting some kind of gear, kneepads, wristbands, gloves, ankle tape... I completely understand, but I find that such a huge turnoff.

This would have been in the early 80's and SW had no tapes etc on her, just plain gorgeous. She was one wild person, in a very nice way. She was dating Desi Arnaz Jr at the time. She would come over with her terminator glasses, a trip! Super sweet but damn good. After she cleaned my clock she asked if I was going full out and I was! She didn't realize just how strong she was. Oh the good ol days in Ventura...

In the early 2000s, I had an old Academy Wrestling VHS tape of Charlie getting owned on the mat by Bobbie Boudreau. But somehow got misplaced.

Did anybody who has posted here (or hasn't) do any videos with Charlie, Spice or Belinda? Just curious, because I might have them. I might want to rewatch them and pose a question or two.

One of the last things I remember Charlie doing was forming a tag team with Kristie Etzold. I'm not sure where that went. It seemed like they had pro wrestling in mind. I would have loved to see them against 2 guys.

As for Belinda, I kept monitoring Steel Kittens for years after she retired, hoping against hope that she would do another mixed. I know she was getting up there, and she apparently didn't want to show her legs anymore. (She was always wearing leotards at the end.) But she -- like Charlie -- had a certain style, a certain quality that was very rare.

I remember watching Spice gradually getting muscular from one video to another.
