Default Are you guys in shape?
It seems like the stigma is that mixed wrestling fans are middle aged out of shape guys, at least judging by a lot of videos. It would make sense though that we be in good shape for such a physical hobby. So are you in shape?

I'm in pretty good shape. Run, swim & weight train regularly. But I don't wrestle.

Even I don't wrestle at the moment but yes I'm in the best shape of life. Weightlifting, cycling, swimming & sauna, stretching and eat clean regulary.

I session seldom now for various reasons, but phased out of appearing in videos for this very reason.... I don't think men want to see the SAME victims, and they also don't want to see victims in their fifties who clearly have had a Twinkie too many.

There are exceptions of course. I happen to be in great shape, but I qualify it as being "for an older guy," LOL. I sure don't want to be thrown around the room anymore, and the muscle aches take a little longer to go away.

But here's the thing:
In general folks are more affluent as they get older, of course. By the time many men can afford to session regularly, or goodness forbid, appear in their own self-sponsored videos, they're not going to be in primo shape like young turks.

I hate to generalize (but I will).... Let's remember, money can sometimes be the sole motivator, but for the most part, the males who produce/make videos are in it for something more than $... in varying degrees they tend to be indulging their own fantasy as well. If they have the creativity to generate profits (it's gotten very competitive, with few barriers to entry), well, isn't that like being paid to session, instead of shelling out cash to session?

What a country!

Can't say the best shape of my life (boot camp at 17), but I work out six days a week, and I eat really well. Which makes it even tougher to swallow my losses lol
