Malcolm's facesit and sgpin art
A collection of art by Malcolm (Mal). Most of them were shared on the Internet more than 10 years ago.
I would love to learn more about the author. Below is the introductory text that was posted on his website before it closed ca 2004: Quote:
There are 53 images in my collection, while there was 239 images in the now defunct briefcase folder. Please share if you have more!

Re: Malcolm's facesit and sgpin art
I did not correspond with Malcolm since about 10 years. The funny thing during this long friendship is how often we went into harsh argument against each other and each time getting back into friendly mutual "coleague" support. Sure, during this time, he was all you like except an easy guy. A warm hart and sensitive spirit enclosed into a shell of volcanic nerves. Seeking success from what he does rather than from what he could take. In the last new I had from Malcolm, he learned and got a job as medical assistant in hospital. May be not a very prestigious situation but, for what I could experiment in the few times I spent in hospitals, working there, alway near suffering, fear and desperation, it needs a strong bold human sense, hart an guts. Always I will keep a nice remind of our friendship and respect for Mal.

Re: Malcolm's facesit and sgpin art
hi Pierre how are you
it's been a long time..........it's almost a life time ago, great memories. i had my own art stall in Winchester i sold quite a few paintings, i became an Abstract artist, but i couldn't make enough money to survive, so i ended up working in a huge hospital, i haven't painted for 2 years but i still have quite a few paintings left i still illustrate SGP/FS but i use DAZ 3D instead, i'm too old to do freehand art nowadays i illustrate mainly older women but i keep the art simple i dont add fancy backgrounds like you do....as it's not really needed for how do i put it, a quick 5 minute thrill plus, the trouble with Daz is you have to pay a fortune to download clothing, backgrounds etc.... i've got enough for the ``Magic Woodlands`` though, but i cant generate the same atmosphere as in freehand art, i'm not good enough with the software, lighting effects etc, i just use it for a quick thrill. finally Genesis clothing looks rubbish, not realistic at all. why did i quit ? it all got too much, i took it too seriously and of course my life changed...........now lets have a look and see what's around Last edited by MalX; 04-Jul-16 at 23:53. |

Re: Malcolm's facesit and sgpin art
but i did have quite a few fans on Yahoo Groups and i'm well aware of that.
the art you have here was my very early stuff, my much better later art was ruined by Yahoo Groups file compressing it all, and then sadly lost due to the passage of time and so many PC upgrades since then, it's actually quite sad but that's life i'm afraid. i'm going to upload some new Daz 3D soon, it just needs cleaning up that's all, it'll take a few weeks to do. this'll be by thread from now on so if you like my art this is the place to come. Wow, Mal, so great to hear from you! Great to know you are fine! Amazing to see your new art too! Love it! It is different from your earlier creations, but your style is instantly recognizable. Subscribing to this topic!
