I 100% understand Zweig and Doom Maidens policy of selling individual vids, but I just can't get myself to buy too many of them. I could go to so many other sites and get their whole catalog for the same price of 1-2 vids.

Now I usually stay a member due to loyalness, laziness, and I look forward to the updates. But I bought one Doom video and the jobber pissed me off so I kinda felt that was a waste. Now if I'm getting 10 videos for that price, I can handle a bad jobber better, but with just one vid, its not worth it.

Not to derail, but I would definitely love to set this right for you, as best I can. If you drop me a line personally, either here at the forum or through direct e-mail (orders@[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]maidens.com), I'd definitely appreciate any direct feedback on whatever video/jobber this was, and I will personally remedy the situation for you, to the best of my abilities.

Great stuff, everyone!

I'm trying to envision a model that is both effective and fair for everyone based on the comments. How does a site that uses something along these lines strike you (Please poke holes in, or add new ideas):

- A monthly/quarterly/annual subscription fee that offers streaming-only for all content.
- The option to buy/download individual videos if you don't think the company has enough content you like.
- Also have the buy/download option at a reduced price for subscribers who want to keep/own their favorites.
- One-month free trial for the subscription.
- Non-C4S reliant (meaning cheaper costs and no credit card required).

Added after 45 minutes:

Another reason I'm surprised more video producers don't opt for subscription models is because (similar to why magazines offer such attractive subscription offers) is that you are basically locking your customer in. With a single-purchase model, the customer has the option to chose between your videos and a vast range of competitors. But if they're already locked in as a subscriber then they're far less likely to spend money on the competition and will spend more time on your site since they've already paid for it.

They say they have to pay around 40% to hosts like Clips4sale ,they pay for their own websites in addition to paying the actors/wrestlers and all other costs like the tax and the local they hire ,so they cannot afford to reduce the prices.Besides all movies they make don't sell so well and some actually goes with loss.

You guys ,specially Zweig knows certainly much more than what I have heard.
I have no way of knowing for sure, but I'd guess that Scissor Vixens and Scissor Foxes do OK. I don't think they'd keep churning out a new video every week if they weren't in the black. But sites like those two are rare and they've built up a client base over many years. It's way harder to do something like that from scratch.

Personally, I'll probably buy a few videos from Zweig just cause I like th way he runs this site. Also, from the picture catalogs, they look like good videos, but I'm with the OP on this one. My individual video purchases are somewhat limited. I'll sometimes buy videos from a lady I'm thinking of sessioning with to get a better idea if I want to see her. I bought a couple Sarah Brooke videos - never did see her, but she gets good reviews as a session wrestler. I thought her videos were boring though.

Mixed feelings on the Devon & Andie videos - some fun bits, but not great overall. I've enjoyed most of the Femwin and Doommaiden videos I've bought, but I'm also quite selective. Shefights was also pretty good, not 100% of them but more hit than miss, but they're obviously gone now. - just my 2 cents ofcourse. Opinions vary.

I have a budget for mixed wrestling videos and there are lot of producers competing for that. Because of that, I miss lot of products that are ok to buy. I don't think I buy spend more than 20USD per month on one producer freequently. But if there is a chance I'll hapilly subscribe for 20USD membership in fightpulse and SAWmixedwrestling.

I think it's better, If producers make options to get memberships and buy induvidual videos both. In that way customers can get memberships from producers they freequently buy and get individual videos from other prducers.

If producers think it's not fair to give all of their videos for one month membership they can restrict number of videos customers can get per one month membership or categorize memberships and make one unlimited and one restricted.

By membership method, customers get a better chance to taste the producer than judging by only one video.

And please use payment gateways that can be accessed by any country. CCBill sucks. they don't do business with my country.

This was very professional and kind but just to be clear to everyone, they did not mislabel the video. I bought it fair and square and if they did mislabel I would be upset. But it just wasn't what I personally was looking for so there is nothing to remedy!

I've always wanted to do more with the "c4s Live" streaming membership option, but almost no one seems interested in it or even able to find it easily.

It is essentially a monthly membership option at clips4sale, giving streaming access to whatever videos the store has chosen to list as available for streaming. Clips4sale does very little to promote this option, so it's possible very few producers and customers know about it. It is also not nearly as well developed as the regular clip stores.

Anyone tried c4s Live monthly membership? Do you know what I'm talking about?

...

Would people be interested in encouraging more activity with c4s Live?
C4S Live is a great idea with some of the worst possible execution. The design is MySpace-level of outdated and it doesn't work on mobile. At all. The only plus to it, it's actually secure. We get maybe a handful of sales to it per month, without advertising.

I'm personally subscribed to two different sites on a monthly basis right now. There are tons of clips I can pick from to download. I haven't purchased a full length video in over a year.

Hey Neo, would you mind if I asked which sites you have subscriptions with?

Also, everyone else, please feel free to mention any mixed wrestling video companies who use a subscription model (even if you don't actually have one).

I mentioned above, but ScissorVixens.com and Scissorfoxes.com are the 2 most well known sites, with gonzo short downloads available. Utopia.com too. They sell full length videos separately, but you know what you're getting cause every video has enough free previews.

Utopia.com is another great site with just gonzo-extensive previews available to the subscriber. He writes on his homepage - please be respectful and don't download everything, which I'm sure most people ignore. There's a ton of video downloads with subscription. Now, most of these downloads are 1-2 maybe 3 minutes, but it's more than enough to get a sense of the video if you want to buy it. Way better than the 10 seconds you view at C4S.

MixedWrestlingZone.com is a newer site - great videos. They have a clever approach, you can download all their older videos low-res, but to get only the recent videos are high-res. If you want everything in high-res you need to stay subscribed. My feeling is - wait for a video that really appeals to you and sign up. They have sister sites as well, all visible on their main site. One of their sister sites has naked lady wrestling - always a plus.

GrapplingGirls.com is pretty good, worth a subscribe, and you get a fair number of preview clips, not as many as Vixens, Foxes, Utopia or MWZ, but more variety than most of those others and worth a subscribe.

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] is another good one. More domination but some wrestling. She has sister sites as well all visible on her main site. I was very happy with her videos when I was a member. She limits downloads per day, but if you're determined, you can log on every day and download quite a bit with a one month membership - though I encourage staying on longer to support the ladies if you're at all able.

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] is more one-sided, some scissor holds, kicks and punches, but it looks like fun subscription site. I've not signed up so I don't know how good.

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] has good stuff, but I found their site disappointing cause it has a permanent password on every video, when my computer died, I (at least so far) haven't gotten the videos to work, some I even paid for the full video, but I can't get them to work on my new computer - so, if you're good with PCs and passwords - they might work, but I'm not so much, so I don't have access to the videos anymore. That's very good to protect against piracy, but disappointing for guys like me who have the videos on an old computer only, and I may be able to get them back and working on my new PC, I just haven't put the time into it. Kind of annoying that I have to find an old password to view videos I purchased, so . . . write down your password if you subscribe here. You might need it a couple years later.

I mentioned AshleyWildcat and I think she'll be the next site I subscribe to cause I'm a big fan. Hope to meet her one day, maybe let her abuse me silly on video. [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

Robin has an extensive video collection and subscription available. I don't like her website layout, but her content might be just fine. I've never signed up [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

Mutiny has a subscription service as well. [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] I've not joined, don't know how much you get.

What these sites are looking for mostly are permanent members, but if a person isn't rich and wants to get some variety, signing up for a month or two here can be a good way to boost your collection, avoid lower-res streaming and perhaps the occasional malware at Porn-hubs.

There's probably quite a few more, those are the ones that come to mind.
