The risk of injuries can never be fully excluded, but if you are having a sesison with an experienced wrestler she will know quite well how far she can take a hold without really inflicting injuries. Of course letting her ignoring taps will increase the risk. And you definitely will feel sore the next day.

I think for a first-timer, the possibility of being legitimately under the control of a hot babe who in that moment may be able to seriously harm or kill you, is intoxicating.

I went into my first session with Nikki Fierce like that and within 3 minutes I realized I wasn’t prepared for what she could do to me, and she figured it out, too. We had a great time together but it was nothing like I thought I wanted.

This isn’t a video game. It would be cool if a sexy 130# blonde like Ashley Wildcat could coil her amazing body around me and my power meter could go down to 0 over the course of a minute or so, as I struggle, losing “life” but not in serious pain, then I fade out and push the restart button and keep doing it over and over until the time is up.

But in reality, Ashley dislodged something in my throat that made it hard to swallow for over a month. And Nikki squeezed my head so hard my cornea partially detached from my eyeball for about a week. And when they were doing those things I was miserable and terrified (and learning about myself that I don’t like being miserable and terrified).

Two glorious experiences that nevertheless weren’t really what I wanted.

This is why I’m excited to session with Morgan Del Ray next. I’m going to try to keep it more fantasy and make it more like a video game.

My main points were:

1 Depending on whom you session with, yeah you could get hurt.
2 It’s unlikely you really know what you want until you’ve had a few sessions.

I like the idea of ignoring tapouts during a session. I do it every time. That is with just scissors though. I wouldnt do it with arm bars. When i did a session with Mistress Treasure back in the day, we agreed on ignoring submissions, but i forgot to request no joint locks. She put me in an armbar and ignored my tap. She fucked my arm up pretty good. I think a tendon got messed up, because I felt an uncomfortable pain in my elbow for over a year before it finally went away.

Who asks a question like this and then doesn't interact with anyone offering advice?

Okay, I can wrap my mind around it in this context. Unless you were wrestling someone really skilled, ignoring tap outs on any joint lock sounds really like asking for trouble. But I can see it for scissors and other stuff. Tnx.

That's a fair point. On the one hand, I get the fantasy, but there is a certain wisdom to knowing what sessions are like and and not jumping into the deep end when you've never swam before. I understand both sides.

And the OP hasn't come back and said anything. My first session, I remember, I was so in cloud 9 the entire time, I could have probably taken a no tap session, but I was young and athletic and looking back, almost made of rubber. I didn't get injured easily. There's no good answers without better specifics and the OP hasn't given them.

That's a good post. I find Ashley very attractive but I'd be pissed at her if she did that to my throat. Julie Squeeze bruised my trachia during a session, squeezing a throat scissor a little harder than I wanted, and I was sore for 3-4 days. A month would suck.

Actual injuries like that are no fun at all I think. In fact, they full-blown suck. I'd never ask a lady to give me a no mercy head-scissor cause I know that I couldn't take it. Ive aked for 3 seconds past tap, (and just once, I asked for 10 seconds past tap, but when I was tapping frantically at 6 seconds cause I felt I was about to pass out, that particular lady let me go.

I might ask for a no-mercy body scissor cause I've rarely had much issue with a body scissor and the risk, for me, is much lower.

I would say, choose semi-competitive for the first time and enjoy...

Those girls knows what they do!

Hi, after watching some arm break videos in Bjj, I've decided to not ask for tap ignoring as don't want the risk of a bad injury.

I'm interested in trying being knocked out. How safe is it?

You might want to consider that a lot of those "arm break" videos are probably from either bjj tournaments or mma. That is an entirely different level of intensity. Breaking something should ( heavy emphasis on should ) be rare in normal sparring at any decent school and should not take place just off rolling around on a fun basis. Where things are most likely to go bad is with someone with no or minimal training doing them with a size and strength mismatch.

I suspect you are going to find most women are not going to let you try that on them unless they are pretty darned sure you know what you are doing. If they know they stuff, they are going to be able to use them on you without doing any permanent damage.

If you are concerned about potential injuries, I would start slower and then ask them to ramp it up if you are handling it OK.

I have found that what I thought I would want in a session turned out to be a little different than what I actually like. I can't remember who it was but the first woman I contacted was a lot bigger than me and I had requested competitive. She was already booked for that trip but said that with my size and experience level, competitive with her probably wouldn't be enjoyable and that I might want to try out semi competitive or even fantasy first. I pictured those as just letting the girl win but now that I've done it, I realized that those formats give me all I can handle.
