Ok, guys. One more down. I'm removing Filesonic and replacing it with Wupload. Those who voted for Filesonic, please revote.

But Rapidshare will not stop their service, the rapidshare servers are in Switzerland, out of reach for the FBI, I think

Did anyone hear that there will be changes on youtube next time ?

DepositFiles, Hotfile, Turbobit and Letitibit are also russian.

Also, I'm copy-pasting a post from another forum:
Quote:
MegaUpload - Closed.
FileServe - Closing, does not sell premium.
FileJungle - Deleting files. Locked in the U.S..
UploadStation - Locked in the U.S..
FileSonic - the news is arbitrary (under FBI investigation).
VideoBB - Closed! Will disappear soon.
Uploaded - Banned in the U.S. and the FBI went after the owners who are gone.
FilePost - Deleting all material (will leave executables, pdfs, txts)
Videoz - Closed and locked in the countries affiliated with the USA.
4shared - Deleting files with copyright and waits in line at the FBI.
MediaFire - Called to testify in the next 90 days and it will open doors. Pro FBI
Org Torrent - Could vanish with everything within 30 days "he is under criminal investigation"
Network Share mIRC - Awaiting the decision of the case to continue or terminate Torrente everything.
Koshiki - Operating 100% Japan will not join the SOPA / PIPA
Shienko Box - 100% working China / Korea will not join the SOPA / PIPA
ShareX BR - group UOL / BOL / iG say they will join the SOPA / PIPA
I do not know how correct this info is, but I see the trend, so maybe its true.

Guys, today I realized that this poll is useless. We do not have this much choices.

Basically, there are two types of file sharing services - gray and white. Gray are the ones that provide affiliate programs and give a huge advantage to premium downloaders. White are the ones who don't have an affiliate program, and where there is a slight if any advantage between free and premium (if at all available for downloaders) users.

And the fact is, gray filehosts have no future. Filesonic closed in a very disrespectful and careless manner. So did FileServe. FilePost and 4shared are deleting massive amount of files. And I'm sure soon DepositFiles, TurboBit and Hotfile will follow in those footsteps.

So, there are only white services left - RapidShare & MediaFire. Two choices. Pick one.

Hey zweig(or anyone experienced with rapid share). Does Rapid really delete all your files after 30 days? Even if you log into your account(Assuming you aren't a premium), or even if people download your file?

I found rapid to be pretty good. Fast too.

Rapid was amazing when I had a premium account, but I think the best free service is MediaFire so that's what I voted for.

I would like to point out that sites such as multiupload and sharebee will distribute your file to several hosts, so they might be a good choice to upload to if you don't have a premium membership.
