Default Re: Female athletes vs male athletes from different countries

I found another sport that might give us some interesting insight and that's Olympic rowing.

It's a sport where it's difficult to compare top times because weather conditions affect performance greatly.

However I think it's fair to compare the performances from a single event that happened in the space of an hour though.

So here we have 2012 Olympic men and women heats in olympic rowing:

Let's see if there are any cases of women beating men times.

At 3:03:20 you have the start of Heat 1 where an Iranian [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] performed badly with a time of 7:27.42. The thing is he isn't just some tourist, he is a two time gold medalist in Asian games and also has a gold medal in Asian rowing championships. He beat the very best men from India, Indonesia, South Korea... His country probably put a lot of hopes in him. Look at how he gets dropped back, hilarious...

So let's see if there are women who can beat his time. Surely even his bad time can be good enough to beat women in a sport which is a lot about natural strenght and this is a two time Asian gold medalist we're talking about, probably one of their best rowers ever. Let's see...

At 4:22:00 in the video you have heat 3 of women's single sculls where the Czech woman [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] bests his time with 7:24.17!

I don't know enough about this sport to give any conclusion but it's funny how in every sport that you look at and where you can compare times Eastern European women are really doing a number on these middle eastern and south Asian guys LOL.

To be fair to this guy he finished 5th in the 2008 world championship final at the age of just 20 and was also an U23 World Champion. Obviously as he got older he wasn't competitive on the world the stage but at as a youngster he was clearly an elite athlete in the sport.

Also Iran regularly produces Olympic champions in wrestling and weightlifting so I don't think this a good road for you to explore!

Enjoying the thread massively though so keep up the good work!

I'm not saying anything about Iran, I was just looking at random events and found this.

I think it does say a lot about the high level of these Czech female athletes when on their best day they can beat a legitimate male champion like him on his worst day. The way people are talking about women sports you would think this would never be possible.

At the end of the day if they competed side by side people wouldn't care about how good he was or could be at his best, they would see him get trashed by a woman.

The good thing for him is that there aren't any athletic European women on Asian championship to beat his time on the same sport event, no big bad Russian amazons... Oh wait!

...
Olga also beat Zahiri's time at the 2016 Olympics where he ran 11.56 while she ran 11.50!

His Olympic 11.56 time is also his best performance while her best time is 11.09!

He is clearly no match for this good looking athletic lady!

Imagine if Afghani authorities demanded Abdul to hang this picture in every room of his house to motivate/shame him into doing better. Reminded multiple times a day that this woman is better than him.

Losing to a woman that has all but given up her femininity (such as someone like Caster Semenya) is somewhat mitigating, but to an attractive, feminine girl like this; her pleated hair with a cute little bow tied to it is surely much more humiliating.

Good idea! But I think they all know that there is no chance he could ever defeat her best times. They would have to face the bitter truth that she is simply more athletic than him!

It's also interesting that this girl also has a superior physique to him despite looking completely feminine and girly. She is much more ripped and muscular. It's clear that this girl was born with some great athletic genes. Her ancestors must have been Ukranian or Russian workers who moved to her hometown of Almaty in Kazakhstan during WWII when Russia was relocating industry and factories from the European part of Russia to the east of what was then Soviet Union. They carried strong Russian working class genes deep into Asia.

I think some of these Russian and Ukranian female athletes really achieve a perfect balance between athleticism and femininity. I find her incredible attractive.

There was a giant leap for humanity over the 20th century, especially in the later half and some nations just missed it and are always going to be catching up. And Afghanis and Yemenis were never even close to the Europeans in terms of natural strength and height in the first place. Already in the 10th century the Arabs were in awe how big and tall the Vikings were.

Maybe they can grow somewhat taller and bigger and more athletic if you put them in European conditions but guess what, the Europeans are also constantly growing and getting more athletic!

Also, why aren't all those Arabs in RICH countries doing ANYTHING athletically?

It's just like it was already said:

In fact I just found some nice FACTS to back it up.

Kuwait is one of the richests countries in the world! Their men can get all the food they need!

I was watching the results of 2017 Asian Weightlifting Championships and the first thing I noticed was the HUMILIATION of the men from Kuwait at the hands of stronger Chinese women on the same event.

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

56kg men:
ALHATEM Abdulla 02.08.1986 KUW 56.00 B 90 110 200

2 KIM Kuk Hyang 20.04.1993 PRK 98.93 A 126 166 292

And that's comparing them to Asian women. I checked on the Wikipedia and none of those girls even have Wikipedia pages, they aren't even elite female weightlifters. Imagine how badly the results of the big bad Russian amazons would emasculate them!

Every single one of the men they sent got a lesson in humility by these strong Chinese women.

Why are these women able to do this to men from a filthy rich country like Kuwait? Your theory doesn't hold.

You are saying lot of stupid things ... If North Koreans are that bad why are they that good in olympic weightlifting ?

You have to understand that a country's top athletes in a given sport are as good as the governement develop the said sport and that's for example the reason most of communist countries, where olympic weightlifting has always been important to prove their "supperior strength", are that good in weightliftng ( North Korea's woman and light men team, China's team, Russia's team, Back in the days east Germany too)

Like, Off course some jamaican girls are better than some thailandese men at running but it's normal, their best athletes are into thai boxing and sepak takraw [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] that's some awesome athletes here

Bhutan vs Icelandic women
♂ vs

I wondered what would happen if we compare men from a small country with no significant athletic achievements with women from an even smaller European country which has never won a gold medal on the Olympics either.

Most women who set the records for Iceland don't even have a Wikipedia page. From what I gathered about some of them through google searches one of the record holders is a psychologist, there is also a girl who is a dancer. And those national female records of theirs are NOWHERE NEAR female world records! So we are essentially talking about hobbyists here! Of course that's not meant to disrespect them but they're not full time elite athletes like the Russian girls.

The Kingdom of Bhutan is a proud country with 800.000 people while Iceland has around 300.000 people.

This is how the Bhutanese men look like:
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

Bhutan has interests in sports and there's an entire Wikipedia page dedicated to it:
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

While they might not have the greatest sports infrastructure in the world I'm not putting them up against the big bad Russian or Czech amazons here (those girls would massacre them)! We're putting them up against female hobbyists from Iceland (a twice smaller country in terms of population) who likely have a full time job. Figuratively speaking, we're talking about school teachers and waitresses here and not some Russian elite female athletes who were raised for their sports and nothing else.

It will be hilarious if female hobbyists and amateurs with no Wikipedia pages can actually beat the top male athletes of a country with twice as large population as theirs!

Clearly, there could be nothing else to attribute it to but to the natural athleticism of the Icelandic women!

Icelandic women actually appear to be very naturally athletic. Their average height is among top 5 in the world for women at 168cm or 5'6''. Can't find the average height for Bhutanese men but it's surely much smaller than that, they seem to be another group of short people.

Can't find the swimming records for Bhutan so it's going to be just athletics...

Athletics

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

100m Bhutan ♂

200m Bhutan ♂
A soccer player who is supposedly called [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] ran at 23.2. He seems to be one of the best athletes in their country since they compared him to such a marquee elite athlete. This shows you that he is their most accomplished athlete. Yet he barely beat an Icelandic girl without a Wiki page who ran at 23.7!

400m Iceland ♀
Icelandic female record at 52.83 is better than the Bhutanese male record of 53.4.

800m Iceland ♀
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] beats the Bhutanese record with 2:00.05 vs 2:05.05

1500m Iceland ♀
Once again Aníta beats the Bhutanese record with 4:06.43 vs 4:08.09. The funniest thing is that she set that record when she was just 18 years old. An 18 year old girl who trained for a hobby beat the top male record of an entire country!

3000m Iceland ♀
Bhutanese record beaten by an Icelandic woman from the 1980s who ran 9:07.02 compared to Bhutan's 9:28.0.

5000m Iceland ♀
What a gap, 15:55.91 vs 16:40.10

10000m Iceland ♀
32:47.40 vs 38:39.7. This is turning into a complete ass whooping!

Now the next two Bhutanese records were set by one of the Bhutanese athletes who has a Wikipedia page. He is [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] who is also a member of the Royal Bhutan Army. So clearly, he is someone they respect greatly. Also, being in the army he has to be in top shape. But can he beat a female hobbyist amateur from Iceland who doesn't even have a Wiki page?

The answer is NO! She destroys his records!

Half marathon Iceland ♀
1:11:40 vs his time 1:15:19

Marathon Iceland ♀
This one is closer 2:35:15 vs 2:38:33 but his time is defeated again!

High jump Iceland ♀
1.90m record for Icelandic women vs 1.78m for Bhutanese men

Long jump Bhutan ♂

Triple jump Bhutan ♂

4x 100m Iceland ♀
45.31 vs 46.9 win for women. Neither of the 4 women have a Wikipedia page, no-name female athletes trashing top male records of another country LOL

4x 400m Iceland ♀
3:38.96 vs 4:10.1 win for women

60m indoor Iceland ♀
7.50 vs 7.64.

1500m Iceland ♀
4:19.31 vs 4:20.68

This record was also scored by the 18 year old [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]! This is already the third Bhutanese male record she beat. LOL She is HUMILIATING them!

3000m Iceland ♀
9:07.02 vs 9:45.67. This was a complete destruction...

14:4 for Icelandic women! Bhutanese finest athletes have their top athletic records completely DESTROYED by Icelandic female amateurs! Many of those times weren't even close! It's very clear that those women are simply more athletically gifted.

OVERALL SCORE

Bhutanese men ♂ : Icelandic women ♀ 4:14

The Kingdom of Bhutan is humbled by the records of Icelandic women!

Maan what a bunch of stupidity... if you knew at least a little bit about Iceland's culture you would absolutely know the place of sport if their lives while Bhutanese people got something else to do with their time like.. looking for food?

You started with insults when I have always been polite to everybody in this thread. This just tells me that those athletic females beating male records make you very uncomfortable just like some other people here.

We are mostly comparing athletics here which is about raw athleticism and a lot of poor countries excel in them despite not having the best infrastructure.

As for North Korea I wasn't even bringing them up here. Their athleticism is diminishing and they're clearly not doing well in that area. Also their best weightlifters are in smaller weight classes, they're short, little people.

They're not big into track and field, at least not women, that's why their records are WAY lower than the female world records or female records of more successful other European countries.

They might be good in other sports but we're not comparing those. We are compering their records in track and field.

I know that they're into sports but they're apparently not into athletics and by the logic of some people here you need to supposedly have some lifetime of elaborate training and top notch infrastructure for it.

African people need to "look for food" by your logic yet they can beat the world's best in athletics.

Those women are definitely not real professional athletes. A professional athlete is someone who doesn't have to work any kind of other job and gets paid enough to generally be able to be set for life. This athlete then focuses 100% on sports as opposed to amateurs who have to worry about making ends meet or doing something after the athletic career is over. I really doubt anyone of those women earned any real money doing athletics since they were/are not elite. There are professional athletes in Iceland but they're not.

Also, why does it matter if they're into sports or not? The fact is that as things are right now Icelandic women are way more athletic than Bhutanese men as backed up by facts. That's the only thing that matters, the results.

Default Re: Female athletes vs male athletes from different countries

I went through the 2017 Asian Championships results again and noticed there were two Afghanistanis present there as well...

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

At 94kg:
7 MIBWATS Raziqi 01.01.1991 AFG 93.53 B 105 130 235

At +105kg:
7 TURKMAN Fazal 01.01.1995 AFG 143.30 A 115 147 262

So I went to look at the 2017 European weightlifting championships results to see how they compare to European women...

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

As one could probably expect by now, they get humiliated by Russian and Ukrainian women!

At women's 90kg weightclass the 1st and the 2nd place went to [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] of Russia and [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] of Ukraine who had a total of 241kg and 240kg respectively. That's more than the heavier (94kg weightclass) Raziqi's 235kg! Furthermore Valentyna weighed in at only 86.7kg and was only 18 years old at the time! The big Afghan weightlifter got outperformed by a teenage girl around 10kg lighter than him!

The big 143.3kg heavy Razal got his 262kg total beaten by the 104kg heavy Ukrainian woman [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] (277kg total) and by the 107kg heavy Russian woman [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] (317kg total)! Once again two smaller women besting the result of a heavier man and proving that they are stronger than him!

Look at how strong these two big Eastern European women are:

P.S. Lidia Valentin of Spain who competed at 75kg at that event is very feminine looking for such a big strong woman, her total was 252kg:

That's better than the two Kuwaiti guys from the Asian championship's 77kg weightclass who only scored 230kg and 242kg! These European women keep embarrassing heavier male weightlifters with their incredible strength!
