Have to say I really don't fancy Holly in this fight.

As far as styles go, Germaine will be happy to take the centre of the octagon and let Holly dance around, like she does, and catch her with counters or stalk methodically.

Will be interesting to see what Holly's game plan is and the adjustments she'll look to make after the Shevchenko loss, which was basically a kickboxing match. Germaine is also from a decorated Kickboxing background but she is a lot bigger (5'10) than Valentina with knockout power. Perhaps Holly will be the one to initiate grappling or at least get GdR thinking about a TD threat. Julie Kedzie (who must be one of Holly's training partners) was able to have some success (albeit in a fight she lost) against GdR with this kind of game plan.

I don't have a lot of interest in this fight but I must say Holly looked super hot at the press conference after the Paige fight.

UFC is just praying Holly wins . But in the end it won't matter cuz Cyborg eventually will get that belt.

Throwing a wrench in those plans would be if Ronda wins and then Holm wins. Rumors are they'd set a rematch which I wouldn't like. It would mean Cyborg would have to wait again. But I wonder in what weight class they'd make it?
Catchweight at 140? Or for one of the belts?

If Ronda beats Amanda, and that can be a pretty big if, I'm sure if she faces Holly it will be for Ronda's belt at 135. Ronda vs Cyborg will never happen.

As much as I am a fan of Germaine: that guy was a TV host who trained for a few months. That was by no way a pro-fight. The guy does that for his TV show and seeks for extreme things, climbing steep mountains, runs extreme races in the desert, and fight a kickboxing match against a trained female athlete.

UFC Houston coverage providing a glimpse of what's to come. Rogan trotting out "Holm was having too much trouble cutting to 135" as the justification for moving her up. Funny, Holm, herself, has never said anything like that. What they want is Holly Holm to be a champion, so they created another division where she can be champ again. Not the only reason they did it but certainly one of them. Rogan does colour very well, everything else, including being a shill, he sucks at. So obvious what he's up to.
