Default boxing in relationships

It's new to me and I've discovered that I dig it. Is anyone else into this?

I would love to box with my GF... But she doesn't want too.

My wife and I occasionally box, but it is more like sparring.
it is not a fight. Unless she catches me with a straight right or hook to the jaw, I'm impervious to her punches and I'm not interested in hurting her.
But it is fun none the less.
It is more like amateur boxing than professional.
We don't really keep points, but at the end you know who scored more punches and who got "worked over"

I used to like watching boxing when I was a kid. Of course I liked Ali, but my favorites were the welterweights - Sugar Ray, Hagler, "Hitman" Hearns - because those boys could *fight*. It was fun to watch. As I got older, I did get into Tyson mania, but I didn't like the fact that boxing had moved away from network to premium cable.

I never fancied myself a boxer, but at the same time always felt that I was at least slightly better than a beginner level shadow boxer. I understand basic concepts like keeping your guard up, staying on your toes, using the jab to create space and set up the cross, and also knew the basic mechanics of how to throw an "ok" punch. Wrestling with a partner has always been my thing, but while I am very late to the party, I'm really enjoying this sparring thing.

Fortunately for me, I'm part-masochist. lol

I think putting on gloves and doing some light sparring with a partner would be a blast and very sexy. You just have to understand each others limits for how hard you can hit.

I did muay thai for a while. When we did light sparring (especially when varying degrees of skill were sparring each other) we would do let each other take a shot and either point up to say "you can go harder" or shake your head no or just nod "ok" for a a shat that was about the limit.

Once established, you spar . . .WITH your sparring buddy and not against him.

Now, you can do that with your significant other and have a good time as long as you communicate and respect each other's limits

I have sparred with my partner many times. We all understand the rules of safety and respecting people's limits, I wanna talk about the thrill of pushing each other physically, it's almost like a dance. What do you like your partner to wear when you spar?

Black bikini bottoms from a swim suit.
She looks like an Amazon athlete.

We've discovered that one limit is an accidental(??) straight left to my nose, as I can still feel the shot 4 days later. If it had been a punch rather than just a playful jab, I do believe it may have dropped me.

As for outfits, whatever she's wearing is fine with me. I suppose I like jeans the best, but she doesn't need any special preparations for boxing. She's always ready to throw hands at a moment's notice, which I find incredibly hot. The only thing she has to do is take off her rings and then it's GO time.

One thing I've found is girls will often back off after getting a good punch in instead of pressing the advantage. This and a tendency to rabbit punch in flurries can be ironed out with some coaching. Short rounds, smaller gloves for the lady (8-12 oz), and some tuition on basics generally make for a much more intense experience. Some girls really love it.

I have tried it a few times with my wife, always in a fantasy setting. Even though I love the full body contact and being ensnared by her in wrestling, the picture of her in shorts and a sports top (or topless) on guard in front of me drives me hardon crazy. In one of the early matches she got me against the wall, my jaw resting on her shoulder and giving small and repeated punches to my abdomen ... it made me orgasm. Then laying on the floor on a typical KO pose with her overseeing me was awesome.

It has its problems, though. The edge between laughably fake and hurting each other is terribly thin and we tended to go over it many times during a match. Both cases were complicated because the first one would kill the fantasy and the other one would make her refrain. In the end she has decided not to play boxing anymore. She has told me fighting gets her an intrusive thought of domestic abuse and while she can shake it off while torturing me in a wrestling match, it gets to another level when punches get in the scene.

She does like to do the boxing games on the Wii, so it's not completely out of the plan. We do get it on at wrestling because she can try to outwrestle me with all her strength without easily getting a bruise. I always think of getting a mat and boxing gloves for cushioning, but i don't fancy the idea of spending on those just as for a fetish, also there's no place in our apartment to store and assemble the ring for sexual purporses that guarantees we won't be discovered by an insomniac kid (no one to leave them with), so we are constrained to fight on the bed.
