Hey Cal! How is the work on the sculpture going? No hurries, just impatient to see the final product

Unfortunately, I've been on the road for the past couple of weeks. Add to that, I'm doing a little experimenting with the sculpture. I also printed a base that took a little extra time. Here's where it's at today.

I wanted to add a little accent to the hair, so I used a little acylic paint, which looked good. I then thought, why not addd a little more, so added to the clothing. It needs a little touch-up, but I really like it.

Let me know if you like the painted accents. Now that I know what I'm doing I can print out another which is au naturel.

@[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register], it looks outstanding! Wow! Great job with colors! Love that you also chose to color their hair differently!

The difference in hair color is what got me started on "how would the clothes look painted?" Here's where we started with the print - 3D modeling:

The actual printed material does not look or feel like plastic. It's very easy to paint. There's obviously a couple of flaws, but the next ones I print should be better.

Just go to Manhattan and ask someone there... This is not considered strange at all in New York City.
