Default Do we need a separate subforum for women's MMA?

Hi, Forum!

With the rise of the popularity of WMMA, there have been more topics about it in the Discussion section. While some of them belong to the forum, like MMA females vs men, and even threads dedicated to fights have some relevance, there are also those that better fit the General Discussion (off-topic) subforum. Does this bother anyone?

Please vote in the above poll for one of the three options:
- Yes, let's create a separate subforum for WMMA and move all topics there
- No, but let's move all WMMA topics to the General Discussion subforum (which is for off-topic content)
- No, let's leave everything like as is

Please also leave a comment explaining why you chose either option.

Not sure what is best but since we have now many threads about Ronda,Miesha,Holly,Paige ...... Maybe it is a good idea to put all of them in a separate section so we don't miss some of the posts.

It seems it would be convenient for those that are strictly into WMMA.

personally i see Martial Art as a way of fighting, just like boxing or wrestling.

i'd rather like to see separate forums for male vs female & female vs female.

sometimes it's a bit of a mess with both m/f & f/f put together in one thread or even a part of a thread.

Forum, if you answered yes, do you think all topics related to wmma should be moved, including pics and video topics, or just discussions?

Maybe there should be a forum for women combat sports in general so you can include women boxing, judo, BJJ and also actual women wrestling like women freestlye and greco-roman.

My preference would be to separate mixed from ff in all categories at all times.

I did not vote as I do not really have a preference. I like it the way it is, but also do not mind if they get moved to a seperate forum. The WMMA-topics are not the ones I am most interested in in this forum. So I let the people who do care decide :-)

I do like the subforum that was created for session reviews, as that is something I am particularly interested in. All the rest I read through the 'New Post' search option, so I do not really care about in which subforum they are posted.
