Default How Common Is This

Hi,

As some of you may know my GF has been wrestling for a while. However, a few days ago her old trainer / manager convinced her into do a mixed pro style fight with a man. Anyway, how common is this?? How do the women do fighting men in this kind of fight?

Thanks,

Brian

Hey Brian

Whil my wife and I have different kinda matches, we occassionaly do participate in a pro style match

I have taught her many of the different kind of pro holds, and she usually gives me a good match when we do it this stlye

Only problem is that the pro style holds seems to hurt a lot more than just rolling around, and our matches are a lot shorter

Since "pro" stuff is generally fake, if you tried it for real, the result would probably be injurious, or even fatal

I've done a lot of pro style matches, but ONLY with properly trained ladies who know what they're doing. As Freestylefan pointed out, it can be very dangerous & result in serious injuries if she & her opponent haven't had the proper schooling in taking falls & applying pro style holds safely.
If I were in your shoes, I'd talk to her trainer/manager first & get some backround on her opponent before I'd let her do it.

As far as how well women do in pro style mixed matches, it all depends on their level of training, experience, & who they're up against. Obviously, a veteran is going to do better than a rookie.
