Then there was a time when of what producers there were such as California Supreme and Triumph Studios used 8mm movie cameras to film their action. After filming, the used reels had to be sent off to a lab for processing which could take a few days or more. The people at the lab could also see what was on the film.I could just imagine the discussions that took place at those facilities.

Certainly an interesting topic. As someone who has both a membership site that allows streaming and downloads, as well as a c4s store, there is very useful feedback here. For me I think with all the factors of cost, time, money spent etc. I think a dollar a minute is more than fair. My clips are generally on the shorter side so I'm not asking you for 40 dollars a download. I started this in August of 2011, and since that time, space rental has gone up, cost of a good cameraman has gone up too many expenses to name. Yet the $1 a minute has remained static. I rarely if ever trade and I don't partner up with a model. So that and many other factors can make this business very frustrating and depressing at times.

Now I'd love to hear more why you guys hate streaming so much? Personally I prefer it. You don't bog down hard drives with files. You have so many wifi connected devices you can watch from. I personally prefer it to downloads. It's the way Netflix, HBO Go and others are. I don't hear people complain I can't download the file on Netflix.

Lastly not picking a fight, but like it or not piracy is an issue. It takes time, resources, and a lot of effort, to do your best to contain the issue. In order to do this business right, and you can hate or like me but I have had success. You need to spend 60 plus hours a week behind a computer at least. So while I always love and appreciate feedback, I do hope you consider all that we have to go through to do our best to make a good product.

Like I said, people want to watch it on other devices and want control to make their own playlists, and Netflix is $10/month. There is no one site that gives you access to videos from all the sites for $10/month. You can't even get one subscription for $10/month.

Netflix doesn't give you every movie ever made, and it also isn't niche content. It has mass appeal.

Internet connections hick-up, stall and generally don't provide HD quality of video download. There's also internet downtime. It's gotten better, but I still prefer the reliability and consistency of a download - higher HD the better. Netflix takes up a fair bit of memory, so I'll usually watch it on Roku or cable, not via internet.

There's a domination streaming only site I sometimes subscribe to but I can only watch the videos when I have an active membership - gets expensive. If I download a video I can view it without an active membership.

I agree with you on piracy from an outsider's perspective. I hate piracy. It's also impossible to stop cause enough people will do it no matter what, but on a personal level, I don't share videos unless they're out of print and I try to support the industry with purchases - I mean, I'm selective with what I buy, cause there's so much to choose from, but I try to spend something.

But I just don't like streaming cause I have to maintain a membership. I prefer ownership.

Fair answer. I try to see both sides of the equation, but just wanted further reasons to see why streaming is so hated. Personally I hated downloading a video game from the Playstation store and wanted a disc. Now I got used to it and all I do is download from the store. It takes time and I'm sure porn streaming will improve too. I'm pretty happy with mine.

Now I usually stay a member due to loyalness, laziness, and I look forward to the updates. But I bought one Doom video and the jobber pissed me off so I kinda felt that was a waste. Now if I'm getting 10 videos for that price, I can handle a bad jobber better, but with just one vid, its not worth it.
I've always been disgruntled with the few membership sites I've tried, because it always seems that 95% of what was accessible did not interest me, and thus, was a waste.
I have never been disappointed when purchasing a video from Fightpulse or Doom Maidens because they have several photos, preview vids, and very detailed descriptions of the videos. I essentially know what I am getting and paying for without the fear of feeling ripped off after.

Exactly. Your site (and just about every fetish site) has a very specific theme. People like variety. Netflix doesn't have everything, but it has a very diverse set of films and shows. Netflix also provides ML algorithms to give you recommendations. This is worth a lot of money. If you can improve their system, they'll be happy to cut you a 7 figure check. You could probably write a basic recommendation system for your site, but I don't think this system would be very useful when your videos are pretty similar anyway (same goes for utopia, SV, SF, etc., in case you choose to interpret this as an attack or criticism).

Most important are, like I said, being able to watch on your own devices, and setting up a playlist IMO.

Regardless of reasons, people are more likely to subscribe if they can download the videos. If the only reason for streaming only is piracy, the pirates will find a way around it, and you'll just piss off the honest customers.

As I stated before you can do both. But the devices argument you can watch on any with an internet connection just the same as you watch a file.

Suppose I want to watch some videos from your site, scissorfoxes, and utopia. I want to create a playlist where it shuffles the videos. Further suppose I want to have the videos from utopia from the same shoot combined into one video, so it's not a huge number of 1 minute clips. How do I accomplish this seamlessly? I don't even think netflix or hulu has a good system for this, where "everything" is on one site.
