The whole incident seemed a little fishy to me. Nobody would have known of Treena's extra curricular activities except for Treena proudly showing her photoshoot in the magazine to Judell...even though Judell had a policy against even toplessness in her videos. Then Judell is offering copies of the Hustler at a premium price to her customers. Then a series of videos featuring the Skarvans trying to get Treena to leave by defeating her in a match. Now I don't blame Judell at all for capitalizing on this "scandal", but it seems a possibility it was a late money grab before Camp Amazon was going to shut down anyways.

I don't necessarily believe it had to be Treena that made Judell aware of the photo shoot. Judell had a number of customers at that time, and as you would have seen from what she wrote in the newsletter, when she asked her customers their view on if Treena should be allowed to continue at The Amazon' or be banned, those that responded were split about 50:50. It therefore could well have been one of her customers, and presumably one who believed Treena should not be allowed to continue competing, that made Judell aware of it. I was not aware that Judell offered her customers copies of the Hustler magazine. Even though by that time I had been on her mailing list for many years, and communicated with her regularly, I was never offered a copy, but that doesn't mean she did not offer copies of it to others. Maybe she knew I would not be interested in a copy.
In the newsletter Judell gives some background to the two matches featuring Susan Skarvan against Treena and Cindy Brooks. These were, without doubt, the most violent matches at The Amazon, and to me there is no doubt the reason for that was the Treena affair. The fact that Cindy expressed her thoughts on the situation on camera before her match against Susan, and she held an opposing view to the Skarvans, probably angered the Skarvans even more.
Did Judell used it as a money making opportunity or not? it is irrelevant to me, but I do believe it was the beginning of the end of The Amazon in California. To loose the number of girls they did in one go was a major blow, and of course that was followed by the police investigation, and subsequently the divorce. I think all those events combined probably played a part in what ultimately happened.
