Default Has anyone lost to a much smaller opponent?

Has anyone here actually lost to a much smaller opponent despite having a size advantage? I don't see myself losing to a chic that is 30-40lbs lighter than me but that's just my opinion.

Maybe I should wrestle a BJJ gal?

true :-)

in semi competitive wrestling i have lost to quite a lots smaller girls, some were much smaller. even if i would have wrestled competitive a third or half of those girls could have defeated me.most of the ladies were very fit,and had good bjj andor a lot of wrestling experience.

some examples:

the first time i was very amazed when it happened against gia primo. i was around fit 70 kg then, she about 50-55 kg.

later i lost against an even a little lighter and smaller xana two times. this time weighting about 75-80 kg (yet, the extra punds were just excessive weight this time)

in addition , i had no chance against a 160 cm and 60 kg antscha and a little bigger and heavier ola (163 cm and 63 punds)

Almost all the ladies I've wrestled have been smaller & lighter. I lost about 80% of the time because they were also faster, more agile & just plain wore me down.

Maybe you should.Go to a BJJ school and ask to grapple with their highest ranked girl.Let us know how your 30-40 weight advantage works then.
