What is Kontex? Thanks.

I also recall that G.R. and DWW may have evolved out of the old German Mat Club that was based, I think, in Munich.

I thought ASFilm/Beka developed out of the German Mat Club. In fact those early Beka matches were numbered starting with GM and then the number. I assume that meant German Mat Club. Those were mostly pins only matches, from non topless to nude but almost always with shoes.

DWW also set another standard here in Central Europe - that the site is not accessible from Central Europe (at least from Czech, but I suspect also Hungary and other countries). It's spin offs (Foxycombat, Fighting Dolls) continue this tradition, together with some more (Alphacatz).

I understand and respect that, but still, it kind of spoils it for me. I could use proxy whenever I wanted to see it, but that was not very convenient. In the end, I just moved to other sites. As a result, DWW was the only company I didn't feel wrong getting their content from "other sources", because all that "support the publisher" was kind of twisted if I am a customer their do not want...

Thus the only Czech site I am purchasing content from is Fighting Pulse (thanks, Zweig .

RobRoy -- why was it that they blocked their website from the home and neighboring countries? I don't get understand that move.

Roadrunner -- Kontex is a German outfit that has agreements primarily with defunct companies to continue to sell their videos. Among these are Festelle, TPC and now AS Films/Beka. The prices are not unreasonable, however no package deals are offered, just "a la carte" so to speak. They make some of their own videos and apparently even Festelle does too, but these are all nude and more of a sexual nature than wrestling. At least IMHO.

From what I understand, companies do this for the girls. The idea is their families and social circles won't find them as easily. I see this mentioned a lot with regards to webcams on adult forums, so I'm kind of assuming it's the same idea here.

Of course, that is misguided. If you're on the internet, you can be found... but it is what it is.
