I wasn't interpreting your post that way. In fact, I didn't read 90% of the posts in this thread. I just wanted to correct the misconception that femdom fans aren't into real violence against men (sadly).

Either way, I'm not into maledom, and don't care about it, just wanted to point that out. Nevertheless, I do agree. What about women who want to be submissive, who want to lose? Are they not allowed to seek out a guy who can "put her in her place?"

Well, the average man, by default, tends to be physically stronger than the average woman. I don't mean to be sexist; there are women who could take a man in a fair fight. I've learned that by example. But, women tend to have less muscle, and are often physically smaller than men, who are larger and have more mass.

I think it's wrong to visit harm upon someone for no reason, and it's especially deplorable when you hurt someone who isn't as strong as you. In a confrontation, violence should be a last resort. When someone smaller than you is trying to pick a fight, you should diffuse the situation without violence; it's your responsibility.

As such, I would never normally hit a woman. I'm bigger and stronger than most women, so they aren't as much of a threat to me, and as the more physically powerful individual, it's my onus to keep a cool head. But, that also carries over to men who are smaller and weaker than me.

Applying the same logic, let's say a 5'4" scrawny man steps on a female MMA fighter's new tennis shoes by accident. I would be outraged if she pummeled him into the ground.

Unless someone is absolutely a threat to you, by virtue of being your size, or holding a weapon, you should not resort to violence.

As for my predilection towards Maledom, frankly, I just think it's hot to see a woman physically overpowered by a man. I find women more attractive in a submissive position, than flexing their muscles while straddling a scrawny jobber dork who got owned.

Many people see things the way you do, and use their viewpoint to justify weaker people hitting bigger people because bigger people shouldn't be allowed to defend themselves. Weaker people exploit this nonsense all the time. Just don't hit others, regardless of their muscle mass. If I saw Dwayne Johnson and punched him in the face for no good reason, I wouldn't be appalled if he decided to kick my ass.

To answer your question, the only reason I posted was to correct someone who thought that femdom fans aren't into real violence. If you have a problem with that, you can ask the mods to ban me.

Oh, I do remember that thread. And similar ones too, not least of which being [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] thread where a few guys professed their envy of men in abusive relationships. It's for those reasons that I used the words 'very few' femdom fans, rather than everyone. I do still believe the people in those threads represent a vocal minority and that the enormous majority of femdom fans are well aware of the line between fantasy, consent and reality.

It does highlight an interesting dichotomy though, for those fans that do purport to be fine with real female on male violence and, to a lesser degree, the femdom fans who are so opposed to maledom action. Consider that a femdom fetish is generally born out of the concept of a strong, dominant, superior female. And yet, in some ways, femdom fans actually seem to represent the idea of women ultimately still being the weaker sex.

How so? Well, firstly in the notion that female on male violence is acceptable. The underlying thinking/justification there seems to be that a woman couldn't really hurt a man physically, so it's perfectly OK.

And for those that hate the idea of a woman losing to a man, even purely within the realms of fantasy. This almost seems to harken back to an age when men felt women had to be protected and defended. It's an odd contradiction that some men relish the idea of woman being strong enough to win a fight, but don't consider her strong enough to ever lose.

And that's the irony when you think about it. Although I am a maledom fan, my fetish is essentially fuelled by the idea of women being stronger. And yet for (some) femdom fans, it almost feels like the very opposite is the case.
