Default Youtubers f* youtube

Man youtube used to be good, but during 2008-10.
A legion of stupid youtubers came and spammed a lot of stupid stuff.
We want amateurs and genuine footage of fight and armwrestling. Not these "professional" edited videos that are made only for like, sharing and money.
That is sad!
Does anyone agree with me?

Youtube is also being really harsh with its flagging and video removal for anything that might be the slightest bit suggestive. I used to think they were harsh before, but now they are *really* strict and FAST to flag and remove.

Youtube has gotten pretty bad about censoring/deleting just about anything that they don't like these days. A lot of threads along my other areas of interest get censored, removed, or demonetized, it's really annoying. I fully expect a new video upload venue to rise up in the future to challenge this.

There a lot of decentralized applications in development. In 5-10 years youtube will be worthless. You can printscreen.

lmao that's some optimism. youtube is still the king when it comes to free upload sites and racks in millions of views. and appeals to a wide range audience. Wrestling, gaming, comedy channels, skits, fashion, news, music, etc. much more than listed here

youtube ain't going anywhere anytime soon and with google's support they'll still be the big name website no matter how many websites are in development and come out, for a very very long time . Other websites cater to a specific demographic or interest (liveleak, porn hub) and don't have anywhere near the audience of youtube despite being out for years. Others have died out and sustain little activity.

On a related note, it is extremely hard to make a competitor to YouTube. The bandwidth, storage and maintenance costs are extremely high for video streaming services, so it's difficult to make a profit, if at all possible. I've heard YouTube itself to this day is not profitable. That should be telling.

Agreed. Really lame. I mostly turn to sites like Xvideos or Xhamster now...

I've tried posting things to pornhub, but the ads there are really in-your-face. Are xvideos and xhamster less aggressive and overt with ads?

I think Xvideos has a ton of ads too, which is annoying. Honestly I haven't used Xhamster as recently so can't recall.

The ads suck, but it's their whole business model. When I'm getting free content I can't complain. I just use good anti-spyware software, etc
