Default Live events -- F/F or Mixed? Or Both?

Happily, we have recently come across some nice spaces here in NYC that could be used to host live events. Hooray! We also have an increasing roster of local talent -- both female and male -- in the area as well. As such, we're considering trying out another live filming event.

We've done several live events before that featured both F/F and mixed matches, but I am indeed sensitive to the fact that a lot of F/F fans don't like to see mixed, and, to a lesser degree, vice versa.

I'm inclined to keep the F/F and mixed separate on the schedule, such as, for random example, F/F from noon - 3 pm, then mixed from 3- 5 pm. But should one sort be prioritized over another?

So, just a little curiosity poll here. If you were to attend a live filming event as an audience members, would you only want to see female / female matches, or would you only want to see mixed matches? Or would you enjoy to see both female and mixed?

I know some guys have said they feel uncomfortable watching live mixed matches, especially if they are competitive and the outcome is unpredictable. I haven't heard anyone say that about F/F matches.

But anyway, we'll start it from there. For LIVE viewing, in person, as an audience member, what are your preferences? Thanks all!

Both!
Live mixed matches that are unpredictable are simply the best!
When would that event be?
Think about doing it on a long week-end... for people coming from other states or abroad, and may be offer special prices to oversea people. Just ideas...

We were going to try a small one on possibly September 25, just to test out one of the new spaces. Short notice, for sure. But if all goes well, we'll do with with a longer lead-up time in the future!

Generally I slightly prefer watching F/F wrestling but there is definitely a lot to be said for watching an elite female wrestler like Veve dominating a guy in a competitive match in front of a live audience. Personally I'm not a fan of evenly balanced mixed matches where the guy gets multiple submissions.

I prefer to watch f/f matches, but I've seen some competitive f/m matches before.

The thing with f/m matches is that most of them aren't 100% competitive even when said otherwise. However, I'd really love it if a skilled Jiu Jitsu session girl beats a guy with some skills, a white belt for example, in a mixed match in front of a live audience in one of the underground wrestling events.

But as I said there is no way to know if the match is 100% real.

You can usually tell if the guy is trying or not. Against a really skilled opponent like Veve it might appear that the guy isn't trying just because he knows he is in over his head and is subconsciously trying to save face or because he has gassed out and has given up struggling.

A big plus for me at live events is booking mini sessions. Not always possible depending on the venue, but that's a favorite of mine.

Me too.. its great watching the girl's wrestle at Pippa's show, knowing that its your turn with them later! Not long now until September 3rd!

I voted for F/F & mixed... but don't want to see the males win any mixed matches....

Both. As long as wrestlers are well matched in skill, walkovers aren't much fun.

I' am into mixed wrestling not female wrestling but I like events where both mixed and female wrestling is scheduled. The female fights are usually more competitive and more thrilling. They also give you a better insight in the wrestling skills and physical abilities of the ladies and the opportunity to approximately rank and compare them.

Mixed matches are often more one-sided and more playful. But during these shows the female wrestlers can show of their their dominant side.
