Time and memory can clash when thinking back,my own memory only relates to the two shops in Soho and also an office/shop in South London which I must admit to having never visited.
I don't know if it was an outlet for Swish Publications or someone selling their products but there was around the same time a shop opened in Brighton, but I don't think it lasted very long.Which in a way was rather a surprise as even all those years ago Brighton was one of the most enlightened/broadminded places in the U.K.

I agree with Klaus about Brighton - it's always puzzled me that such a louche place doesn't have any womens' wrestling. In one of the mags under discussion I remember coverage of a ?Festelle event with a tag match featuring 2 very pretty girls from there, but that's all I've ever heard of.

The two girls you remember were Julie and Sarah who if I'm correct appeared just the once for Festelle in FV21 Tag'n'Split when they took on Louise and Joy in both singles and tag matches.
Can't help but wonder, what became of them?

I well recall these matches. The Brighton girls tried hard but were matched against two heavier, more experienced opponents.

Thank you all for the great 80's memories. I never went to the UK but was able to get that magazine here in the States. I still have the issue(last picture that Klaus posted with the girl doing the sexy Victory Pose). Also always searched for the Cruella magazine as well. Thankfully you can get pretty much anything without traveling hundreds or thousands of miles. Have a Great Night

Yep I used to go there in the 80's and remember it all very well. I also recall there used to be a female/mixed wrestling film show (not video actual projector films - probably 8mm) run in the upstairs function room of a pub, once a month if my memory serves me right, run by a mature Gentleman who always reminded me of a college lecturer for some reason! It was usually on at about 9pm, but I can't remember where any more, certainly nowhere near the Swish shop as I had to get on the tube to go there. We had beer and cheese and onion sandwiches during a break at halfway - I recall that! It was also a good place to pick up photo sets and the like from others attending too.

(Belated reply!)
The pub where I saw the films in the mid80s was the Roebuck - not that far from Borough tube.
