I like a lot of Festelle and the grittiness of their videos, but how many of their mixed bouts are competitive? I have seen some advertised in that category, but after watching them they appear closer to fantasy.

You don't check out any reality girls videos
Reality Girls and Femwin are the best for real competitive action with real KO's. Not sure what the one poster was saying about them faking KO's. I don't believe that is true at all.

It's too easy to find these types of video on youtube for video companies to be a viable businesses.

I would think a foreign (non-us) based company would be more likely to have competitive matches (m/f & f/f), considering how insanely litigious it is in the states. You can lose your house over a dog bite. The idea of having participants sign waivers is little more than a placebo, IMHO. Any ambulance-chaser worth his salt would jump at the chance to sue, esp. if the defendant has some deep pockets. I remember London Andrews praising grapplinggirls studio (in Florida) for being so safety conscious. Probably a reason they only use those tiny pipsqueaks with pipe cleaner arms who couldn't even bend a toothpick if they tried!

As others have noted, the issue is piracy.

Even if you can keep your vids off the Pornhub network of sites, they can still wind up on a site like *******, which I think is based in Russia.

Fight Pulse is good at keeping its vids off the web that Google accesses. But many producers are not.

Don’t know how you see a pic like this where the guy’s thigh muscles are straining and the girl’s face is red and think it’s not 100% genuine. I was a few feet away from this match when it took place. No question it was completely real.
Yes DWW & FD seems 100% Legit (at least 90%), but the thread seems more about men being humiliated and dominated, not about competitive wrestling.

I don't think the video content has been declining, even if of course each opinion is valid.
Things have changed but mixed wrestling productions still bring for me creativity and ideas. The fact that there is a huge number of videos available, with a lot of different styles and specialties, can obviously lead to disappointments...and each of us must search the content closest to our wishes and preferences.

And I would like to point out that a "fantasy" action can also be aggressive. The staged performance doesn't mean the guy is only here to be dominated or humiliated, and he can sometimes really try despite of the predetermined endings, with variations and many levels of intensity. Strictly competitive matches are rare for obvious reasons, but there is not a unique manner to enjoy a wrestling contest which feels real in a way, and deeply emotional.

If the videos from the past can sometimes seem to be more spontaneous and raw, the present doesn't have to copy it. And there is always a lot to do and to express.

This point about the US being insanely litigious, or losing your house over a dog bite, is, with all due respect, urban myth. 90% of viable tort claimants never take any action. Most of those lose at summary judgment. The famous McDonald's coffee case that is usually brandished about in support of this notion stands for exactly the opposite point -- that the dreaded "litigious plaintiff with ambulance chaser" loses almost every time. A signed waiver in a claim that you got injured in a combat sport you sought out and engaged in would actually be very important, if not a slam dunk. There are major sports, e.g., hockey, football, that occasionally see lawsuits or criminal charges for something egregiously violent, but those are extremely rare where the sport is inherently violent.
