Actually I got to spend some time with Helen around our session and I didn't find it unpleasant at all. It's very unlikely someone will last in the scene if she's a good wrestler but not fun to be around. A small minority of bodybuilders I've met were ladies who I'd say I didn't exactly take my time leaving after our hour was up, that makes more sense as their sessions are strictly physical in a way most wrestling focused sessions aren't.

The original question was about women we HAVEN'T met we think we'd be friends with. For that question, my answer would probably be Jolene Hexx. Hard to explain why, but she just seems like a badass and like a lot of fun. Possibly Shaunna Ryanne as well for similar reasons.

The other women I think I could maybe truly be friends with would be Scorpion, Gia Primo, and Robin, for very different reasons. But I've met all 3 of them.

Scorpion is just very nice, has a great sense of humor, and is fun to be around. She's like a hot tomboy who could kick your ass, but who's also fun to chill with. We had lunch after our last session, and it was indeed fun to hang out.

Gia has a different personality. Found out we have similar taste in music, so she actually said something like "we could be friends" when we chatted after our session. Of course, she probably says that to a lot of clients to get repeat business. Something about her edgy personality also makes her fun for me. She's also quite intelligent and has a good sense of humor. Just don't get on her bad side!

As for Robin, I'd be friends with her for entirely different reasons. While she's an ass-kicking machine, she's also very kind and seems like she'd be a loyal friend. We've talked a bit about "life stuff" - family, people I've dated, etc, and she just seems like a good listener and a kind soul, even if she can make you submit. She also kind of has that whole cosmopolitan-new agey thing going on that I kind of like.

Default Re: What session wrestler would you be BFF with? Who wouldn't you like?

I have been friends with a few session wrestlers outside of the sessions. Mixed feelings on the results, it got expensive. One lady, I don't want to say her name publicly but we seemed to click in the session. She seemed to really like me, but just not in a dating way. I had a huge (YUGE) crush on her, so you can imagine how that went. (if anyone really needs to know who, just PM me), but there's not much to tell. I asked her out, we went out a few times, then I got the just friends talk, but I had a big crush on her so I kept taking her to dinners and theaters anyway, without much return on investment.

I got Shannon Logan to go out with me, but we had stuff in common that we could talk about, esoteric stuff like Carlos Castaneda, spirits/astral projection, silly stuff, but I was more into stuff like that 10-15 years ago, so we had that to talk about. Hanging out with Shannon, even though I also got the "just friends" response, it felt more honest, didn't go on for nearly as long. Part of that might have been her leaving for college on the other side of the country at the end of the summer, so it was only 3 or 4 dates. Very fond memories of the time I spent with her.

Another lady, a Dom, we ended up hanging out a lot, I was more of a father figure for her I think, helping her with little stuff (and rent money), but I got a ton of free sessions in return, so that was a pretty fair trade, even though she was actually gay and not at all interested in me in the dating sense.

but . . . I digress.

I did hang out with Julie Squeeze once, and I ran into a problem I run into sometimes when I pull off the "can I buy you a coffee" line and it works. I had nothing to talk to her about. So, 10 minutes of awkward silence later, we parted ways. That's nothing against her, it takes 2 to converse, but I couldn't pull it off with her. I also think, and I could be wrong on this, but I think Julie likes to keep her life and her wrestling separate, which may sound strange for how public a wrestler she is, but I think she's probably different with her friends than she is with her clients - and that's nothing wrong with that. But it's my sense.

That's happened a few times with me. I get the wrestler outside and then I have nothing to make conversation with them about. Maybe others don't have that problem, but I've run into it a few times, Jasmin Flower too also Jeannie Vaughn.

I agree on Jen Tomas. Very easy to talk to when I sessioned with her. I'm sure she's fun to hang out with. Hot Stuff Hollie too. Very fun. I'd totally like to spend a some time with her outside the mat (and on the mat)

on Helen von Mott, I think she enjoyed saying "I'm a bitch", it was something she wanted to put out there, and at times, (from posts I've read from others) she would push people away if she had someplace to go or another client in half an hour), but when I first met Helen, after the session, she invited me to hang out with her and talk, but I couldn't, I had some place to be. I think she's much more easy going, and, I'll add, intelligent and easy to talk to than some people realize. I'd hang out with her happily. Virago, FYI, means bitch. She told me that. That's all I've got. Nobody else really stands out as wrestlers I know well enough to say.

Well, to be fair, she never dated me, she hung out with me and let me take her to dinner once or twice. I tried to date her.

and the "astral projection" . . . I debated whether to even write that. It makes more sense if you read some Castaneda (though he was heavy into using drugs, at least in the novels early on, pretty out there), or Tom Brown Jr (explains the approach a bit more directly), but that was a long time ago, and it was an interest we shared. It's not right to even say "astral projection", that's a meaningless term, it was more about energy, but none of this explains very well. Everyone has some level of intuition and and most of us can sense good and bad energy from other people, it's not crazy to say these ideas exist. The next step is to try to manipulate that energy, for good (taking bad energy away from someone who has to much), or for hard (giving bad energy to someone), which is really pretty simple, just give someone the finger and odds are they'll pick up some bad energy just in response. But in theory it can be done more subtly, like you can make bracelets and put good or bad energy in them and give them to people. (A friend of mine picked up some bad energy that way, he said it was really strong too, but he caught it and got rid of the bracelet), now, totally fine if you don't believe in that stuff. I was more into the healing aspect some years ago, I'm much less of a believer now, but when I hung out with Shannon she liked my stories and it gave us something to talk about. I have no idea how much she was into it, but she liked hearing about stuff like that. Her Yahoo Group strangegirl had some discussion along those lines. It's not as strange or crazy as it sounds. Reiki, for example, is based almost entirely on energy manipulation. Cupping, which Michael Phelps kind of made known at the last Olympics has physical aspects but energy aspects are part of it too. Penn and Teller even did a show on energy and psychics (they called it all bullshit), so, opinions vary. I haven't read or seen any of Shannon's screenplays, she's apparently worked on a few, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of her writing touches on this subject, or, maybe, she's moved away from it. No idea.

To give some examples - the movie the crying game, near the end, when Jay Davidson has Stephen Rea tied up and she's going to kill him, but she says "Jody is telling me not to" - her dead boyfriend. Movies are full of stuff like that and if it's done well, it's believable and often moving.

One of my favorite stories kind of along these lines. DeWayne Jessie, who played Otis day in Animal House, when his agent offered him the part, low budget movie, filmed in Oregon, he wasn't interested, but as he was walking out of the office he says he "heard a voice" - he talks about this in Animal House the inside story - which is well worth watching by the way. He says the voice told him "take the job", and he did and it turned into a goldmine because "Otis day and the Knights" became a band that a ton of people wanted to hire after the movie came out. He even changed his name to Otis day.

Did he really "hear a voice" - opinions vary, I'm sure. Have I ever heard a voice? That's a very very long story. Sometimes when people hear voices, they're going crazy, so it's not always a good thing. Or maybe they're psychic, if you believe in that. It's a pretty fuzzy topic without concise answers and hard to discuss or pin down. And, no, she wasn't a practicing psychic or energy healer or anything like that, but she gave me a tarot reading once and I think she had a friend or two who might have been more into it and she found the whole thing interesting. I was exploring ideas like that at the time and it gave us something to talk about. "Astral Projection" was just a term of convenience meant to summarize, bad choice of words I think.

The point was really more along the lines that we had a shared interest, which made dating (or hanging out) easier. Gave us something to talk about.

and . . . I seem to have taken this deep into a tangent, so . . . back to our regularly scheduled program.

I miss spending time with her. She was a very cool person to hang out with. I don't think I was badass though. I think I was just a curiosity to her.

It is hard to say which session wrestler I would want to be BFF with. Over the years I have been lucky to meet some nice ones. Off the top of my head the three that jump out at me are, Scarlett Devine, Malibu and Good old Flex Zee.

There's a woman named Scarlett who wrestles for Tempest NY currently. She's such a beautiful woman and from what I heard she has a great attitude. Not only would I want to wrestle with her, I'd love to get to know her as well.

I agree with Scarlet Divine, add Ana axtasia from London

Kristi is a great person and a good wrestler

I feel like I would genuinely enjoy hanging out and taking a walk down the beach with Skylar Rene after a sweet leg day workout. Sone thing about her, not just the looks <3

Also, lethal body Yasmin Telles. I can see a laughter filled conversation and a lot of passion in her eyes. She's got a bright soul

I don't think I'd like some of the more body builder type of wrestlers. I think the testosterone thing throws off something primal in me. I just don't process it the way others do.

Unreasonable, I think, to expect more than to find a good wrestling partner; and lucky if you find that. Anything beyond is frosting on the cake.
