Default Obsession/Addiction

So I recently had to go through my hard drive and delete all things related to my wrestling fetish (videos, pics, drawings) because I realized I'd become addicted to browsing sites like this one in hopes of finding something I could get off too. I've been doing this years, literally for as long as I've had internet access, but about a week ago I short of discovered that it had become something of a problem. I actually meant to delete my profile on this site but just couldn't bring myself to do it.

I was just wondering if sort of thing has happened to any of the other people on this site. Have you ever had trouble controlling your fight fetish, or whatever you want to call it. I know some people think of fetish as a dirty word, and I don't want to argue labels here.

most definitely. been there done that and continue to do it over (and over) again.
for me it has been a life long addiction, and i've trashed a whole lot of shit at various
times only to build it back up again. (currently i don't store hardly nothing.
the image or video is discarded once its been posted.)

others have noted and i agree, there is a secretiveness connected to this addiction -
a sense of embarrassment. however, i found that this fear of embarrassment was
profoundly misplaced. Took me years to tell my wife that mixed wrestling and losing
to a girl was my fetish. Her response was, "oh, is that all. "

anyway, you're not alone - but at the same, this ain't no Dr. Phil blog either.

I did that same exact "cleansing" process a few times and I always end up with a hard drive full of this stuff in the end anyway. It's like they say, the best way to get rid of temptation is to give in to it

I've tried to get out of it numerous times. I bought comics with female Superheroes beating men, when I was a kid. Wanked over circus strong-women and leggy Vegas showgirls and magician's assistants on tv. I had literally hundreds of catfight-magazines and VHS tapes from the 80's and 90's, which I trashed when I bought my first DVD player. Then I got internet access. I tried to get into vanilla-porn, but I always crept back to wrestling via genres such as "curvy-butts", "women's muscular legs", "facesitting" etc. Like you, I wiped my HD on several occasions, but built it up again. Guess I'm a lifelong scissor-addict. a hopeless case.......whatever, good luck in your efforts!

I'm a little confused here guys. Don't we enjoy this obsession/addiction of ours? Is it detrimental to your lives in some way? I don't understand why you would fight against it so vehemently. This passion (that's what I'd call it) that we all share, in various forms, is just part of who we are. It's not illegal or necessarily taboo (in my culture anyway), but I do get that it can be slightly embarrassing if people find out but that's no reason to want to eradicate these desires. As has been said before, somewhere else on this forum, theres far worse fetishes or unhealthy addictions out there. And with the continued rise in popularity between competition of the sexes and the skyrocketing confidence, capability and independence of women becoming more mainstream, we may soon see that we're not the minority we once were. Or thought we were.

Anyway, I don't mean to moralise or lecture any of you. I just didn't realise there was this amount of self loathing amongst some of us. Cheer up lads, it's perfectly healthy.

I hear what you're saying, but obsession/addiction in any form can have negative consequences. For example, my sexual attraction to a particular woman is entirely based on my perception of her physical attributes in relation to wrestling. As to her personality, I'm always looking for hints of confidence, superiority, domination etc. So in that aspect, I probably ignore a lot of otherwise very nice girls, who would be happy in a more "normal" relationship.

Well my problem isn't so much with the fetish itself, so much as with my lifelong struggle with masturbation, which is fueled by this fight fetish. To put it plainly, I've been jerking several times a day, everyday, since I was a kid. I'm a long ways away from being a kid now, but I still can't stop. I've never had a real relationship, and my sex life has always been a bust. I can't really hold an erection for more than a few seconds because (don't know if you know this) over ejaculation causes all kinds of problems with your hardware.

I'm not really ashamed of the fetish. I don't think it's weird or anything to enjoy getting off to women wrestling -- like you said there are worse fetishes. But I'd like to be able to stop masturbating and that would be easier if only I could stop indulging this fetish.

Too much information, thinks I.
