I'm coming in a bit late with this. But now the thread has been resurrected, I thought I'd let you know. Swish Publications had two London shops back then - one in Soho (West End), and one in Borough (South of the River). The former is featured in the photographs here; but you visited the other one - which is why the setting looked completely different.

I went to l. Scott sales in NYC in 1990 and remember the excitement of seeing all those videos and magazines. I think I only bought some magazines and then coming back later in the day only to find that the place was on fire.

I think even back then I was scared to buy a video and bought only a magazine or two, as I'd be crossing the border.

It was not a fancy bookstore it was a area in the back of a camera store.

I used to buy L Scott Sales videos at a store on Reisterstown Rd. just outside of Baltimore. Back in the early to mid 90s.

Some old wrestling magazines here, you can download in different formats, I suggest the pdf versions.

The L Scott Sales store that opened in Meriden, CT in 1992 was an exciting discovery back in the day

Haaaa! I may have bumped into you there!!

I used to drive all the way from Towson. I got films from VSL, Crystal Films and others there.

Damn, I felt so awkward and uneasy buying those tapes at that place. Thank gawd for the internet.

I have posted this in another thread, but given the topic here thought I would repeat it. I have a large collection of AIA magazines, all in very good condition, which I am looking to unload. Anyone interested please PM me for details.
