to address the idea that attraction to muscular women may be conneted to gay tendancies, the reciprocity alone is enough to see how a non-sense that is :
A woman with muscle doesn't look more like a man than a man whitout looks like a woman.

I really think everyone should give up on this "caveman dating" stuff. We gave up programmed instinctual behavior when we got these big brains of ours. Humans do lots of things which aren't safe or healthy or good for child rearing because of our complex dependence on personal feeling states and/or societal norms. There are parts of the southern US where the word "healthy" is often used to describe seriously obese people. It's not logical -- it's "human."

If every man had an urge to stick his dick in a woman simply to make babies, there would be no art, no literature, no NFL, no muscle cars, no Grammy Awards, no Kim Kardashian, no Hollywood, no Bollywood or a million other things. Imagination is an essential part of the sexual event. And our brains are capable of imagining ANYTHING.

The problem is that most people are too chicken ass to imagine things on their own. They need to be told what to imagine. What to like. What not to like. Can anyone here definitively describe what it means to "act like a man"? For hundreds of years in Central Asia, the practice of "bacha bazi" was (and still is) accepted as normal. In it, the most powerful and important men in the community are provided with young boys to have sex with because sex with a young boy is considered a pleasure much greater than what could be had with a woman. I'm sorry, but on the WEIRDO-METER, a sincere urge to wrestle with a strong woman doesn't hold a candle to shit like that.

Do what you like, dudes. Just try not to hate yourselves so much while doing it!

@[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register], yes clearly, and by traditional I include the "modern" one as well, I mean look whom Hollywood chooses to cast for female superheroes and how fashion mags are represent the "ideal woman", the bones/meat spec was getting so low some models started to die from anorexia ! Depiction of realsitic female physical power is more hidden now than it was in any of the ancient civilisations. Are they afraid of something ?

Sorry I've not read through the whole thread yet, but I'll admit: a) it's a more interesting turn-on than staring at a vagina or a pair of breasts; and b) yes, it's got in the way of relationships

From old psychology textbooks, anything other than the norm was called a sexual 'deviation' or deviance - psychology today doesn't like to touch on this kind of thing, because people get very sensitive around these issues ... But basically it's a form of transference - in the same way neurotic energy you're not dealing with can manifest as a phobia, sexual energy can be transferred to something other than *sex*

Maybe some of you can relate to this, but I started getting attracted to girls when I was quite young, and lived in a very middle-class area where girls were a little uptight, plus I wasn't very good with them ... So at school age, I had more sexual energy than I had an output for, and so your mind develops what some would call a fetish - after all it's easier to armwrestle a girl than to get into a relationship

I hadn't heard it called 'rebooting' before, but yeah, this is basically what you do - you stop indulging it for a period of time, and gradually it's replaced with more conventional turn-ons ... But of course, if you're not getting any sex, you can revert back

Interestingly I've not met many, but I do know girls who have the equivalent turn-on: a friend's long-term girlfriend - tall, stunning, dark-haired - gets turned on beating guys in armwrestling, having bigger calf muscles, etc. It's subtle, but being like we are, you notice it .. and maybe the key is to find a girl like this

Honestly, as much as it can be a pain in the arse when the girl I fall for is the one who wants to be overpowered all the time, I kind of think our interest is working for the bettering of society - it's time for women to rise up and start running the planet

I've known people who had Femdom fetishes and was into that far more than they were sex, so they took the process without any relapses (this means not ''letting themselves off'' to check mixed wrestling) and after about 90 days, sometimes more, femdom caused no arousal in them, instead they just liked normal sex (which did not turn them on when they had the Femdom fetish)...
LOLOL by this definition I've "rebooted" for far longer than 90 days. By some definitions I wouldn't have a "fetish" either. For me I have a functioning normal "vanilla" sex drive and a femdom drive that overlap a little bit, like the MasterCard logo. The only thing is for porn, femdom >>> vanilla for me but I love the physical sensations of vanilla sex.

I, like others who reboot don't have sex drive, believe it or not, all I want is to be headscissored, I don't care about sex. This is why rebooting may work better for someone like me, and other people who carry a fetish which far outweighs the sex drive.

But even then, that didn't stop me from fantasizing about it. Even if I didn't act on the fantasies in any way. In fact, I found that during this time of abstaining that if I ever saw anything that had a girl beating a guy I'd react even more strongly to it.

I don't think sexual evolution is a simple as you make it sound though. Why for example is it the case that most women can't orgasm through intercourse if sexual pleasure is purely to get us to reproduce? And how do you explain homosexuality? If getting over it simply meant abstaining from looking at it for 90 days then I seriously doubt there would be many gay people left in the world. With all the pressure they face many of them have would have changed their sexuality a long time ago.

Evolution doesn't not mean every human being will function exactly the same and it makes sense that there will be deviations of all kinds. There are many things for which we can't agree on a specific evolutionary purpose for.
It doesn't stop you for fantasizing, if you abstain for a month or so, the fantasy and desire will grow stronger. The temptation must be resisted, and after a few more months, the desire will be very low if not non-existent.

Females don't need orgasms to get pregnant, all that does it increase the pleasure; doesn't necessarily mean it affects the evolutionary purpose. Homosexuality is different because that's influenced by genetics, there's not a choice in it.

You seemed to imply earlier that our evolution couldn't get us to sexual interests that don't help reproduction. If you can accept that it can get us to things like homosexuality or the fact that women don't even get most of the sexual pleasure from intercourse than I don't know why you wouldn't be able to accept that there are also heterosexual men who can't get most (or none) of their sexual pleasure from intercourse either.

And like I said, I was closing in on two months and I only found myself fantasizing more and more as well as reacting even more strongly to any sort of female competition or dominance. I can't really see how another 30 days or so would just magically make those fantasies go away and I've seen no good science to back this theory up.

#8* is not true for me, but #9 is.

#5 is true for me. And regarding #4, I meant to ask about bone structure. How much is your wrist around? Mine is 14.8 cms (5 and 7/8 inches). Bone structure related to the appearance of strength to me and the dominance in mixed wrestling became a display of strength and physical touch/positions. I used to like "thick" girls before knowing about this world.

* Tell us about the humiliation you faced at a sport. Did you wrestle a girl?
Yes I did have a longing to touch. I was the nerd everybody picked on so of course I didn't get any girls.

No I didn't wrestle. I just kept getting beat up by a girl. I told this story in another thread. Here it is:

I had a bully growing up. I was 7-10 years old and this girl would just punch and kick me for no reason. She'd throw me to ground and just hold me there. She was mean. She was actually a year younger than I was, but I remember her being very strong. She was always winning the track races against the boys in school.

As I got older, I just always looked for women who were strong and had a mean streak. Women who were dominant. I have a foot fetish also. Again, maybe it started when I was a kid with this girl. She would pin me down, like stand on me and I couldn't move. Or she would pin me against a wall with her foot (she took karate as well). I think everything started with this girl bully when I was a kid.
--------

She would mess with everybody boys and some girls that weren't her friends. Mainly me though, since we lived right next to each other and our parents were friends. This was on a military base...we were army brats.

I never beat her. I don't know how to fight lol. I have been a science-fiction, video game nerd since I was 7 (I'm 37 now and I'm still gaming!). I only actually tried to fight her a couple of times. I lost. She would just punch me in the stomach and I'd kneel over, then she'd put me in a headlock and that would be it. Most times I just tried to keep her off and away from me or tried to run away. But again, she was faster so she would catch me and I couldn't get her off me because she was stronger than me too. What I would do is just try my best until she left me alone.

I'll start with your second point. If you read the success stories of rebooting on Brain-Porn and other rebooting websites, fantasizing more is a common symptom when you start the process. And if the desire is so strong that you watch a mixed wrestling video or indulge in activity, it's called a relapse. The success stories point out that if you resist, and continuously resist, shun it out of your life, eventually, and I say eventually as in a few months, your desire will go away. Your brain begins to re-wire itself because you are forcing it to re-adjust.

Here are two accounts which exactly touch upon the stronger desire masturbation/activity and the need to resist it.

The only thing I questioned, was whether when people say ''it's just the way you are'' is true, I don't refer to homosexuality, but fetishes which are relatively new. Homosexuality has developed over the course of a good few thousand years, we're talking the likes of 4,000BC. But fetishes like toilet fetishes? Those bizarre ones are recent inventions.
