Default Re: Lesser known but promising female MMA fighters

Great stuff! Thanks for posting all of these. I am still amazed that there are still no popular heavier weight classes for women. The 120-130lb range is full of fighters but not much above that. Where are the 200+lb girls that are already into Jiu Jitsu and boxing? For men, it has always been the heavyweight fights (both MMA and boxing) that were the most popular to watch. Seems a bit discriminatory to me that the bigger girls are not represented in regular fights. I remember Gabby Garcia complaining about the lack of fighters in her class. With all of the younger women now lifting to grow their "dumpies" trying to gain weight and size, you would think they would gravitate toward MMA. Hopefully the weight classes will broaden to represent the real spectrum of women out there.
