Lightbulb Experience points system

Guys, you might have noticed, I've been playing around with this points system called Experience. What it does is it evaluates user's participation by counting posts, threads, thread views, attachment views, thanks given, thanks received, social group activity, profile completeness, etc. and assigns the person points based on this evaluation. Many things count. It is an overall good weighed system. It also evaluates a member's activity during the last 21 days on the forum.

These two evaluations are represented with two bars under your username on each post, orange bar for amount of points and level the member achieved, and green bar for activity, and also more detailed info in your profile under two new tabs called experience and activity. If you hover over these bars you will get the actual amount of points, and activity%. You may also click on the username to see more details in the usual dropdown menu.

This system also includes Achievements and Awards.

Achievements are shown below the username and in the profile of the user. At the moment we have 3 basic achievements (20 days registered, first 1000 experience points, got 3 friends), and I don't think we need more, but let me know if you come up with anything. These also give insight to the involvement of the member with the forum, or maybe not, I haven't figured out yet.

Now, Awards seem very interesting to me and potentially motivating for everybody. There are six default awards: Most Popular, Activity Award, Posting Award, Community Award, Frequent Poster, Blog Award, Calendar Award. The awards are shown in Rankings and Profile. There is a scheduled job running once a day (02:30h) to calculate them. I'm thinking about new awards for most thanked member, most story publisher, most attachment views received, an award for activity at femdom boards, etc. Please let me know your suggestions on this!

You can view the overall ranking by clicking the [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] link in the navigation bar on top of every page of the foum, near the Log Out link. Play around with it, there's some interesting information there. There are 6 tabs in the rankings (user ranking, group ranking, awards, achievements, activities feed, and statistics). The statistics tab shows top 3 users in every category. It also has its own 4 tabs (points for user, points for thread, points for posts, points for miscellaneous).

Also, don't mistake points for the actual amount of any item. For example for every day since registration you get 2 points, you get 3 points for each friend, 25 for each referral, 2 points for giving thanks, etc.

I'm thinking about keeping this mod because to be honest post count and registration date do not give enough information about the involvement of a member at the forum.

Let me know your opinion, whether you like or dislike the points system.

Also, please let me know if you have any suggestions regarding new Awards!

Much appreciate any input!
