Just terrible news. We got on so well in person, shared her weird sense of humor about life. So sad knowing I won't be able to hang out with her again. Meanwhile others will be even more devastated. RIP

I wonder if it was a car accident? It seems like session wrestlers have a high frequency of car accidents from traveling a lot and trying to communicate with people with their phone for sessions. Either way I'm going to start telling session wrestlers to message me when they are done driving or call using Bluetooth.

I don’t think there is any point in speculating it. Unless someone close to her releases details about what happened, it’s probably best to respect her privacy as much as we can.

It just sucks. I am 35, and I feel like I am heavily acknowledging my own mortality.

I agree. Unless it is a car accident. Session wrestler Maggie Pie died in car accident not that long ago. Mia Annabella is a cast now and can't work from a car accident. I would just like girls to be mindful to be safe while driving. Texts can wait.

Damn, so sorry to hear this news. Selfishly, I'm upset I never had a chance to meet her. I know she was very popular in our little world and that her sudden loss is hitting very hard.

I can think of at least one other fatal and three other nonfatal crashes that session girls were in, and it's been more dangerous for the general population as well. Many session girls do have to put themselves in more frequent driving danger as part of the job unfortunately. You can tell people to be mindful of texting, but they can't control what the other drivers on the road do. I admit it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the thread, but who knows what happened. If her family chooses to inform the public what happened, so be it. Other than that, let it remain private.

I am so sorry to hear this. Amethyst Hammerfist was someone I had wanted to session with for some time, but sadly never quite managed it. But you could tell she was someone who exuded life, energy and enthusiasm in everything she did. She will be so very greatly missed.

Devastating news! I sessioned with Amethyst on four occasions, and was supposed to meet her this week. She was en explosion of positive aggressiveness, emotions and primal energy. She brought something unique to the session wrestling scene, and I will never forget her amazing personality. RIP, Amethyst.
