So that was it. Jorden van Foreest won the tournament. It had been unclear how, at first we thought Anish Giri was flagged in a winning position, but in the end it seemed he blundered at move 61 (after move 60 they were getting 3 seconds per move). Seeing them live on screen it looked clearer than following just the game. That was crazy. Hopefully until next year, as for what this tournament is concerned.

that were some nerve wracking minutes indeed, but in the end we can only be very proud of both dutch players.
bit of a shame the final outcome had to be decided by amrageddon, a big event like this deserves a better end.
