Thank you so much for posting this.
Admittedly, the beginning of my love for lethal women came from a vulnerability that I at first tried to run from I guess you could say. On some level I realized that my overwhelming lust for women was a weakness. When I first watched Xenia Onatopp kill the Admiral in Goldeneye, I remember literally squirming in my seat at the sight of a woman killing a man slowly that she had manipulated into complete vulnerability within her embrace. But over a short period of time, I began to really love the idea of intelligent and gorgeous women breaking men.
I find your story really interesting because you reacted in a similar fashion to the way I did when I was first introduced to the topic. I think we were both sort of stunned and bewildered by the concept of a woman using sex to take down a man.
What really intrigues me however, is that after our initial introductions to a Femme Fatale character, we both began to develop a propensity for the concept but in two different ways. You as a female began to indulge in the concept as it was a source of empowerment; I on the otherhand became a sort of sexual disciple to female characters that exhibited traits of the Femme Fatale. I guess I kind of realized that there was a lot of truth in the scenes about human sexuality and relationships and just sort of fell in line with the laws of nature while you got to indulge in it as a female with the higher ground so to speak. Fascinating...
I often wondered if there were girls at school that had seen the movies that I had and were reacting in a way that empowered them.

It is funny how shocking it was for both of us! And I appreciate hearing your perspective, its honestly something that must be "somewhat" popular? There are many examples of these themes in mainstream movies and tv.. but perhaps it is more of a symptom of the "truth" in nature and this is just how it is... It's funny then we are the niche group of people who get any erotic fascination out of it lol
I wonder things like that too, who else was excited by the things I saw, I was always too ashamed to talk about out or open up in any significant way for most of My youth.. thank god for the internet lol
