Default Login Timeout.

Has anybody else noticed that the time that we remain logged in, during even short intervals of inactivity, has become extremely short. I now notice that when logged in, if occasion demands that I take a 'phone call or answer the door, then I am likely to find that I am required to log in again with my username and password. Sometimes I am only away from my computer for 10 minutes and I have to re-login. This seems to be a fairly recent happening. Is there no way that the forum can make periods of inactivity after logging-in longer before requiring logging in again.

If there is a solution to this, I would like to hear of it as well. I lost a lengthy private message yesterday as, when I hit 'send', I had been logged out due to inactivity.

Who else is experiencing this?

I've experienced it in the past. Now, if I think I'm going to be writing a long message or post, I write it in a separate word document and then just copy and paste it when I get on the Forum.

Guys, don't tell me you didn't click the "remember me" button when logging in

This completely solves the issue, I kick myself when I forget to click the "remember me" tab because I know I'm going to have to log back in again.

But 90% of the time I remember to remember me!

OK. It's now on by default.
